This is a gem of a bike. Originally sold by Bahnstormer BMW, they then sold it to it’s second owner in April 2016 at 1300 miles. He has retained ownership ever since, returning the bike annually to Bahnstormer for a service and MOT, and it has come to us directly from him

Genuinely a gamechanging motorcycle, the S1000RR was launched in 2010, and in Sport guise, as here, had Anti-Wheelie, Launch Control, Race ABS (Disengageable) DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) 4-Way Performance Mode Selection – Rain/Sport/Race and Slick, Factory Gearshift assist Quickshifter, Anti hopping slipper clutch, Electronic fuel injection/Digital engine management and control with Knock sensor (BMS-K-P) Brembo Radial Brake Calipers with twin floating 320mm diameter 5mm thick front discs and 46mm Sachs BPF Suspension. Quite simply, upon it’s launch, it blew the competition in to the weeds, and remains one of the fastest production road 1000cc Superbikes ever produced, with an incredibly docile and untemperamental nature
In 2012 the Gen 2 model, as here, was launched. Essentially similar to the original bike the Gen 2 was enhanced and improved in almost every key area, with revisions to the electronics, chassis, geometry, steering damper, throttle action and power delivery
