1998 S Reg. Honda VFR800 Fi-W in Italian Red with matching seat cowl. 1 owner, and a scarcely believable 2290 miles from new. Direct to us from it’s sole owner, this is a relatively early VFR800F being the first of the Fi Fuel Injected bikes identified by it‘s manual ‘choke‘ (fast idle) and lack of HISS immobiliser. Following on from the VFR750, this model of VFR was referred to as the finest bike in the world by many journals upon it’s launch in 1997, and remains to this day a bike of total completeness, being fast, comfortable, a competent sports bike or tourer, with an engine of immense usability and character, and Honda’s build quality at it’s finest. There is little to say about this bike other than that it is in all but perfect condition, and exactly how the most discerning buyer would wish it to be, essentially as new and a total gem. We have it’s original service book and owner’s card, original owner’s manual, numerous old MOTs, varied supplying dealer documents from 1998, original Datatag certificate and details and all keys. Just subject to a light re-commission including fuel system clean, NGK iridium plugs, Shell Advance AX7 oil/filter and MOTd to May 2018. Most VFRs were bought to be used and so very few will have been mothballed, so to speak. As such, this particular bike will undoubtedly be one of the finest remaining, and certainly not easily found elsewhere
