Beautiful example of a 2014 14 Reg. Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP in HRC Tri-Colour scheme of White/Red/Blue. A non ABS version, the full model designation is CBR1000 S-E.
2 owners from new, with the last owner keeping it for 3 years, and just 6300 miles with service history, including it’s original service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had Castrol Power 1 Racing 10W 30 fully synthetic oil service. Good matching Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas fitted.
The SP was launched in 2014 and was so much more than a cosmetically enhanced model. The most advanced, lightest, fastest, best handling Fireblade of all time at that point, it significantly had a Factory Blueprinted engine with power output quoted @ 181bhp, HRC revised inlet tract, cylinder head and exhaust system, Fully adjustable 43mm dia. BPF Ohlins forks, Fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock unit, Gold Brembo 4-piston calipers with fully floating 320mm dia. discs, Gold Marchesini lightweight rims, Revised lightweight rear subframe and unique single seat unit, Revised handlebar clip ons and footpeg locations and an Assisted slipper clutch.
This particular example has many nice options additionally fitted, which include ASV adjustable levers, R&G Aero crash bungs, R&G fork protectors, R&G swingarm protectors, R&G tail tidy, Alloy paddock stand bobbins, GB Racing engine case protectors, Stomp tank grips, R&G radiator guard, R&G exhaust downpipes guard, HEL colour coded braided brake lines, and HRC colour matched seat cover. Standard equipment also includes LCD instrumentation, Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) and a Factory fitted HISS immobiliser.
In the ‘real world’ a latish Fireblade remains one of the fastest, lithe and agile superbikes that can be bought, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else. When those virtues are enhanced with a blueprinted motor, Ohlins suspension, reduced weight etc, etc, as with these SP models, you genuinely have what is one of the greatest road going Superbikes ever produced, at any price.
Also worth mentioning that these bikes look utterly fantastic too, with the HRC colours, Gold Brembos and Gold Marchesini enhancing an already pretty machine no end.
