With just 3 owners from new and only 9900 miles, this bike has led a charmed life. Owner number two owned it for 10 years from 2009-2019 but simply didn’t use it, covering just 400 miles during that period. The third owner was a colleague of his and so has known the bike for many years. He purchased it in 2019 and gave it a light recommissioning service. It comes with it’s original owners’ handbook and all keys, along with a clear HPI report and VOSA mileage printout which demonstrates it’s lack of use. We will provide a 12 months MOT on it at point of sale, and have given it a lube service using Motul 5100 15w/50 semi synthetic oil. Has also had recent air filter replacement
Highly standard and original, it has GPR carbon exhausts (originals supplied) colour coded seat cowl, a taller touring screen (original supplied) NWS carbon fibre rear hugger and chainguard, tinted headlight protector, Scottoiler, paddock stand bobbins and a Datatool S4 CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser
Quite simply, the SL 1000 Falco is the Sports Touring version of the RSV 1000 Mille superbike. It uses the same engine, just slightly detuned by around 10% to give a less peaky, smooother power delivery, and shares the very high quality race spec. Brembo calipers and fully adjustable Showa and Sachs suspension components. Aimed at the likes of Honda’s VFR, and Ducati’s ST2/ST4 models, it’s pretty focused for a sports touring machine, and properly quick. A bike of much character, the 60 degree V-Twin motor offers the kind of soundtrack only bikes such as this can, even more so with the GPR carbon cans this particular one has.
A little piece of Italian exotica, a sports tourer with a very distinct flair, and rare to be found with such low owner and mileage provenance
