These L6 models had a very high standard mechanical specification encompassing Suzuki Ram Air Direct (SRAD) Suzuki Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) electronic steering damper, slipper clutch, Showa Big Piston Forks (BPF) fully adjustable rear Showa suspension, adjustable rearsets, unique pin stripe wheel decals and factory fitted Suzuki SAIS immobiliser

It all adds up to a truly fabulous road bike, enhanced by the key extras this particular example has. These big GSX-Rs are completely without temperament, very user friendly, and totally docile if they need to be. However they have low down grunt pretty much unmatched elsewhere, and with a scintillating mid-range and top end, combined with a lithe, light chassis and formidable brakes, they remain an utterly superbly accomplished machine that in the ‘real world’ is as quick as anything
This bike is in excellent, original condition, and has clearly been very well cared for. With all the right bits fitted, and a low mileage of just 3700 miles, it is surely one of the nicest that will be found, and a total joy to ride
