Excellent example of a 2001 51 Reg. Honda Fireblade RR-1 929, in Black and Silver with Red decals, one of the last of this model just prior to the introduction of the 954. 20000 miles with it’s original service book, and has had recent chain/sprockets, fork seals and new Michelin Pilot Powers. MOTd to March 2017. Very clean, original bike, just as Honda intended, other than for some key options including Powdercoated wheels, Carbon exhaust can, Heated grips, Tail tidy, Colour coded rear hugger, Carbon indicators, F.Fabbri tinted double bubble screen, Tank pad and a Meta CAT 1 alarm immobiliser. MODEL SUMMARY.

Beautiful 2007 57 Reg. Triumph Bonneville Scrambler 900, carburettor fed model, in Metallic Blue, White and Chrome. Sold to it’s sole owner by Destination Triumph in West Sussex, and direct to us from him, due to his purchase of a new Street Twin. 9000 miles with service history including it’s original service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs, and has had a recent 12k major service at Destination Triumph including replacement tyres and brake pads. The Scrambler is mechanically similar to the Bonneville and Thruxton models also produced by Triumph, utilising a version of the firm’s 865cc air cooled 8v parallel twin, carburettor fed in this particular case, but very much with off road type styling, knobbly tyres and with it’s key styling cues taken from Triumph’s ’60s TR6C, the bike that was disguised as a WWII BMW R75 and ridden very expertly by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. Suitably retro, these bikes have period styling and detailing, and the traditional chrome spoked wheels with a 19″ dia. front, chrome handlebars and instrument bezel, black cam covers, black and silver engine barrels, chrome luggage rack and high level twin chrome exhausts with crossover headers, uphold and maintain the classic look of these usable and characterful British bikes. This particular bike also has chrome engine protection bars, a sump guard and hand guards fitted. MODEL SUMMARY.

Really nice example of a late 2005 05 registered Suzuki GSX-R1000 K3/K4 in hard to find colours of Metallic Silver and Grey with Black wheels. Previously supplied by us. 17000 miles with every MOT from new, and recently serviced. New Pirelli Diablos. Extremely clean for it’s year, well cared for, it is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, and rides, sounds and performs beautifully. Lots of nice bits fitted including a Polished stainless end can, Red HEL braided brake lines, Wavy front discs, Double bubble dark tint screen, Rear hugger, Shorty indicators, Race cowl and pillion seat, Crash bungs, Fork protectors, Paddock stand bobbins, Tail tidy, ProGrip tank pad and Rim tape. These early, torquey GSX-R1000s are an absolute weapon, by any standards, and more than a match for later bikes. The K3/K4 models being notably more compact than the original K1/K2s but retaining the almost legendary torque and mid-range that the earlier big GSX-Rs were noted for. Not many still around like this one. Honda CBR900RR-X 918 in the best colours of Red, White and Blue. 2000 W Reg, 19900 miles with it’s original service book, every MOT from new and all keys. Last of the ‘original’ carb fed ‘Blades, prior to the introduction of the 929 RR-Y. The Fireblade was the most significant bike of it’s time when launched in 1992, and set the tone for all future sports bike development. The key thing was it’s light weight compared to other big sports bikes such as Yamaha’s Thunderace and Kawasaki’s ZX-9R. Between 1992 and 1999, the Fireblade was continually honed and developed, ultimately culminating in this model, the RR-X, the last of the carb fed models, and the last of an era as the later Fi ‘Blades were very different bikes. This particular example is totally standard and original, exactly as it left the Honda showroom, and is in excellent condition with no notable marks, or damage whatsoever. It’s low mileage of 19900 is properly confirmed by every MOT present back to it’s first one in 2003, and the original Honda service book with numerous earlier stamps. For the last 6 years the bike has been maintained by it’s last owner, the proprietor of an old fashioned, family owned local village garage, with regular oil and filter changes. Relatively rare opportunity, without doubt a minor classic in the making, and one which can be enjoyed whilst serving as a good long term investment. MOTd June 2017
