These C1s were a genuinely quick bike, with 143bhp, a standing quarter mile acheived in the 10s bracket and a top speed quoted at over 170mph. Along with other sports bikes of the 90s (R1 excepted) they had a nod to comfort and rideability, more of a (super) fast sports tourer
This bike has a 6 piston Tokico caliper conversion with new discs and a reconditioned rear shock unit with HyperPro spring, a Viper exhaust can and a tinted screen fitted but is a remarkably original, clean and presentable bike. The original exhaust and screen are also provided
The motor is super sweet and mechanically very quiet. It remains as it always was, an involving, fun, fast machine. With good tyres, fresh oil change and a long MOT it is good to go, and is a decent useable sports bike at this price level
