Delightful 2001 51 Registered Kawasaki W650-C3 in Metallic Green and Cream. 25000 miles. The W650 is Kawasaki’s retro parallel twin, much in the mould of the original ’60s Triumph Bonnevilles. With spoked wheels, and lots of chrome, it is not at all obvious that these bikes aren’t actually 40 years older than they really are. They look, and sound, like bikes of a wonderful bygone era, with modern reliability, whilst retaining a certain amount of old skool technology i.e carbs ! This particular bike looks beautiful in Dark Metallic Green and Cream, and has period style chrome luggage rack and engine bars fitted. Sympathetically tweaked and modified to improve further on an already excellent bike, mechanical upgrades include oversize mains and idler jets to the carbs, with re-profiled needles, K&N filter chargers, K&N atmo.crankcase breather, and FlatRacer BSA Lightning Tulip Bell Mouth silencers, which sound awesome ! Also has flat touring bars fitted, and weighted AJS folding bar end mirrors. This is a fabulous old skool bike, so reminiscent of a previous age. Just lovely to cruise around on, in some style, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character. Looks, sounds and rides totally superb.
