The TT600 RE utilises a 595cc air cooled ‘thumper’ single cylinder motor, dry sumped, running Teikei carburation and CDi ignition. It is torquey, grunty and sounds wonderful, even more so in the case of this bike with it’s Arrow exhaust. A ‘back to basics’ motorcycle, it offers supreme fun through the lanes and twisties, even at moderate speed. Just a great little bike and being the ‘E’ version benefits from electric start
This particular example is a true rarity with such low mileage and ownership provenance. The 3rd owner of 12 years was a die hard Yamaha enthusiast also owning similarly immaculate and well cared for XT660Z and ZT1200Z Tenere/Super Teneres that we also purchased from him
It has led a charmed life, and as such it is in quite superb condition, and exceptionally nice for one of these bikes. Looks a treat in Yamaha Blue metallic and White, a really smart machine. Would be very hard to find one nicer
