A late example, this bike has covered just 14000 miles with service history, including numerous service bills/invoices and previous MOTs. Just had a major service completed at a cost of £500 (with invoice provided) which included Putoline oil/filter, brake/clutch fluids, air filter, plugs, valve clearances checked, new brake pads and wheel bearings. Uprated heavy duty stator and charging system overhauled. Also has had a new rear brake master cylinder and recent Gold DID chain/sprockets. Excellent matching Bridgestone BT016s fitted.

The RSV1000 R is an Italian V-Twin Superbike of much character. The 60 degree V-Twin  motor produces 143bhp and a grunty 79 lb/ft of torque, and of course offers the kind of soundtrack only bikes such as this can. A fairly exotic mechanical specification includes Dry sump lubrication, Magnesium engine covers, Gold Radially mounted Brembo front calipers and matching Brembo radial master cylinder. Brembo radial clutch cylinder, Gold Brembo rear caliper, Fully adjustable Ohlins forks, Fully adjustable Sachs rear suspension, LCD clocks with comprehensive menus/display and lap timer, gorgeous aluminium alloy swingarm, aluminium alloy twin spar frame and Aprilia Racing branded exhaust cans.

This particular bike has a few nice options fitted, most notably gorgeous Aprilia Performance fully adjustable rearsets. It also has a Factory Racing uprated clutch slave cylinder, adjustable levers, carbon fibre exhaust hangers, carbon fibre tank pad, crash bungs, tank knee grips and R&G paddock stand bobbins

These are a quite ‘special’ bike, of a most individual nature when compared with some of the more plentiful Japanese rivals. It’s booming V-Twin overrides all else, and it’s hard to imagine a more capable, exotic, or charismatic machine in this price range. This bike is properly sorted, and extremely nice. MOTd April 2020.
