MODEL SUMMARY.
Nice example of a Moto Guzzi V12 Sport 1200 2v in Nero Metallizzato. A most characterful Italian machine. Registered March 2007 on an 07 prefix
It’s worth mentioning that this bike has the earlier 2v per cylinder engine, seen in these bikes 2006-2007 prior to the introduction of the later 4v per cylinder engine that had well documented (cylinder head) issues. 2v Guzzis like this one remain simplistic and comparatively bulletproof
3 owners from new and 26000 miles with service history which includes it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Recent engine oil, gearbox oil and final drive oil, and a new rear tyre just fitted. MOTd March 2025. Clear HPI report. All books/keys/documents present
The V12 Sport is Guzzi’s big sports tourer, a bike of individuality, character and (relative) rarity. As with all Guzzis, it utilises a 90 degree air cooled V-Twin, transverse mounted, and in this case of 1151cc capacity. Power output is 92bhp and 96Nm torque, all developed low down the rev range for grunty, effortless performance
It’s mechanical specification includes Magneti Marelli IAW fuel injection and engine management, 45mm diameter forks with adjustable preload, fully adjustable rear monoshock suspension, twin 320mm diameter front discs with 4 piston calipers, stainless steel 2 into 1 exhaust system and, of course, CARC shaft drive
This particular bike is fitted with Moto Guzzi pannier racks and accompanying panniers, and a Givi QR top box plate with matching box. It also has a colour coded rear hugger, factory fitted heated grips and a beautiful Agostini Mandello del Lario performance exhaust
Well cared for, this is an individual and unusual bike in commendable consition. Quite rare to be found and all the more desirable for it
