Excellent example of a comparatively rare Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1200 8v ABS. 2011 11 registered, with 3 owners from new, 2 of which were from the same family. 2012 model year bike with the later AC prefix engine and huge 32 litre touring fuel tank. 14500 miles with service history, has just had a lube service using Motul 7100 10w 60 fully synthetic oil and it’s final drive and gearbox oils changed. Valve clearances also checked and adjusted. Good matching Metzeler Tourances fitted. Original service book present, along with all other books, keys and documents. The Stelvio is Guzzi’s big adventure bike aimed at BMW’s ubiquitous GS, and various KTM offerings amongst others, but with significantly more individuality, character and rarity. Some would say, us included, that makes it rather more desirable. It typically utilises a 90 degree air cooled V-Twin, transverse mounted, and in this case of 1151cc capacity, and with quatrovalvolve heads. Power output is 105bhp and a thumping 83 lb ft torque, all developed low down the rev range for grunty, effortless performance. The high specification of these bikes includes Electronic Switchable ABS, Electronic ATC Traction Control, Hand guards, Sump guard, LCD instrument panel with multifunction trip computer, Adjustable touring screen, Centre stand, Marzocchi fully adjustable forks, Fully adjustable rear shock, Radially mounted Brembo front brakes and in this particular case colour coded tailored luggage with huge top box, passenger back rest and matching side panniers.
