Supplied new by Kent based Suzuki franchised dealers Aye Gee, and first registered in January 2006 on a ’55’ prefix. The V5 displays 4 previous owners (so 5 in total) and remarkably the bike has stayed within the north Kent area throughout it’s lifetime
22000 miles with a good service history, which includes it’s original service book containing 11 dealer stamps. These K5/K6 models are considered by many to be the ultimate GSX-R model due to their light weight, and 176bhp motor. Later models became hampered by emissions technology and were heavier, whereas the earlier models were less powerful. 176bhp only tells half the story, the mid range torque and performance of these bikes is a match for anything, even all this time on.
This particular bike is essentially standard, other than for Pazzo levers, Goodridge brake lines, R&G crash bungs and paddock stand bobbins, a FAB engineering exhaust hanger, carbon style tank and top yoke protectors, and a tail tidy
It also has a genuine Suzuki colour coded seat cowl fitted
These K5/K6 models have an ever growing following, this one is a very clean, genuine and original example. With good mileage and ownership provenance, and a good history, they are becoming ever harder to find like this
