The ‘big’ Thunderbird is Triumph’s ultimate cruiser and is a quite superb machine. Powered by a lazy 1597cc parallel twin that develops 86bhp, but perhaps more importantly 107 lb/ft of torque at a lowly 2750 rpm. That enables grin inducing lusty performance, and means it’s all but impossible to ever be in the ‘wrong’ gear
The traditional specification includes lots of chrome, quite befitting for this kind of bike, and includes Fuel tank mounted clocks with chrome bezel, Chrome top yoke, Twin chrome exhausts, Chrome engine cases, Black/Silver, cylinder barrels, Chrome cam covers, Chrome handlebars, Chrome mirrors, Chrome fuel filler cap and tank badges, Chrome lights and indicators and Polished chrome wheel rims
