The X660 Z Tenere is a go anywhere adventure bike, and smaller brother to the fabled XT1200 Z Super Tenere. ‘Tenere’ both signifies an area of desert in the south Sahara, and the word desert itself in the langauage of the Tuareg (Nomadic) people
With a 21 inch diameter front wheel, twin 298 mm diameter front discs, Brembo calipers and super long travel suspension, allied to a thumping 659cc single cylinder motor that offers grunty performance, these are a great fun bike under all conditions, and with the ability for ‘green laning’ as well
This one has some nice options fitted including (expensive) twin Tenere branded akrapovic exhausts, a factory Yamaha taller screen, SW Motech sump guard and a Metal Mule radiator guard
This particular bike has led a charmed life in that it has only covered road miles in the hands of it’s sole mature owner, and very few of them as well. As such, it is in quite superb condition, and exceptionally nice for one of these bikes. Looks a treat in Yamaha Blue Metallic. Really nice and hard to imagine one much nicer
