Low mileage, low ownership example of a UK supplied 2005 05 registered Kawasaki ZX-10R C1H Gen 1 in Lime Green / Metallic Flat Graystone
Almost impossible to find like this. The very first of the fabled ZX-10Rs, in the very best colour, just 2 owners from new and a low mileage of 12000 miles. Essentially ‘factory stock’ bike
Supplied to its original owner in April 2004 by Infinity Motorcycles of Hampshire, he retained it for 16 years, at which point it passed to it’s 2nd owner. Now direct to us from him
The Gen 1 ZX-10R launched in 2004, and was by far and away Kawasaki’s most focussed, and fastest sports bike, replacing the aging, capable, but much softer ZX-9R. These bikes were, and remain incredibly fast. Very light, and with 181 bhp / 84 lb ft, the model imnmediately propelled itself up to the very top of the Superbike ranks alongside the GSX-R1000 of the day. The technical specification included ‘Ram-Air’ induction technology to allow greater horsepower at wide open throttle openings, fully adjustable front/rear suspension with 43mm USD forks, LCD instruments, Lap timer/Shift light, Slipper clutch, Radially mounted Tokico Gold calipers, Petal discs, Rear hugger and Factory fitted Kawasaki engine immobiliser
This bike is completely original in terms of it’s paintwork and panels, and essentially as it left the factory other than for the fitment of a steering damper and R&G paddock stand bobbins. The original number plate hanger still displays the original number plate with the supplying dealer’s name upon it.
As new matching Pirelli Supercorsa SPs are fitted, along with a Gold DID chain and Renthal alloy sprockets. It also has a colour coded seat cowl, with the pillion seat also provided
Documentation includes it’s original service book with a number of dealer stamps contained within, the original owners’ manual/handbook, some service bills/invoices, all old MOTs, an original sales brochures/period literature and a clear HPI report. New MOT provided at point of sale. All keys including the coded ‘Red’ Master and aluminium key number tag are present
This particular example will appeal to anyone whom places great importance on ownership and mileage provenance, and originality of the overall paintwork/condition. The 2004 ZX-10R C1H is a historically significant superbike. One of the great ’90s/noughties Japanese superbikes, and now at the age where values are increasing, along with their collectability and desirability. This is certainly an example that will appeal to someone looking for long term ownership of one of these bikes as a future investment machine
