Truly the end of an era, this is about as late a CBR600RR that will be found, literally the end of the line. With ever increasing emissions regulations, and the need for continuous development of their engine ranges by the manufacturers, Honda took the decision to discontinue these bikes which had been at the forefront of the 600 Superport class since their introduction in 2004
Nice options fitted include upgraded Gold wheels (standard fitment are Black) a glorious carbon tipped Akrapovic end ‘pipe with carbon fibre mounting strap, HRC colour coded single seat cowl, HRC carbon yoke protector, fuel filler surround and tank pad, and a Tail tidy. This bike really does present a not so easily found opportunity for someone that craves the screaming nature of a Honda 600 ‘four’ in essentially as new condition with the right bits fitted
The last of these CBR Supersports were very high spec. and had Honda’s electronic C-ABS braking system, Ram-Air induction ssytem with revised ECU and PGM-DSFi, Fully adjustable 41mm BPF Showa forks with Unit Pro-Link rear suspension, Lightweight 12 spoke rims, Tokico radial calipers and LCD instrument cluster
An incredibly accomplished bike, whether on the track or road. Supremely user friendly, totally without temperament, a lithe and nimble chassis, sharp brakes, and with an engine that just thrives on revs with an unburstable feel. Certainly, for road use, many people will go as quick on one of these than they would a Superbike with 50/60+ bhp more. A quite brilliant machine
