These Scout Sixty models are so named because of their 61 cubic inch motor (999cc) and offer a highly individual alternative to some of the more obvious H-D models. They offer a more stealthy look to the bigger engined Scout with a black frame and seat, and with a super low seat height of just 643mm appeal to a broad range of riders
Roland Sands Design played a significant part in the model’s appearance, and they are indeed a very stylish retro cruiser, and of much character. They are also surprisingly agile due to their low centre of gravity, and are an absolute please to ride
This particular bike has had just 1 owner from new, and has covered just 5600 miles. It has it’s stamped original service book, and has just had a Motul 7100 fully synthetic oil service. Significantly, the bike has Vance and Hines Grenade exhausts fitted, which both look and sound quite superb. It also benefits from an Indian extended reach seat and Scorpion Tracker
It looks absolutely fabulous, and of course, the low revving motor offers the aural delights associated with, and indeed necessary, for this type of machine. The afforementioned low seat and big capacity, torquey, untemperamental, V-Twin combine to give a supremely comfortable, and enjoyable cruiser
