2017 17 Registered Suzuki GSX1300R ABS AL7 in Glass Sparkle Black with Graphite Striping
This is the last of the Gen 2 ‘Busas which ultimately fell victim to Euro 5 emissions regulations and were discontinued accordingly. For the last last batch of bikes, Suzuki was granted dispensation from the regulations and allowed to sell off existing stock. This bike is one of those bikes, and as testament to this is described in the service book as a GSXR1300R AL7 ‘Derogation’

The 2nd Generation ‘Busa launched in 2008 with an enlarged 1340cc motor, rated at 194 bhp and 114 lb/ft , and all of Suzuki’s latest electronics hardware including Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (S-DMS) Suzuki Dual Valve Throttle System (SDTV) Suzuki Composite Electrical Material (SCEM) and Suzuki Advanced Immobiliser System (SAIS) The key criticism of the earlier model, it’s braking capacity, was firmly addressed by the use of radial mounted brake calipers grabbing twin 320mm dia. discs, and radial master cylinder. ABS came later still, and this particular bike is fitted with it
194bhp with 114 lb/ft torque ensures the ‘Busa remains one of the very fastest modes of transport available
This is an exceptional example and in a particularly nice colour scheme. Very stealthy in deep gloss black, enhanced with the graphite striping running throughout the centreline of the bike encompassing the fuel tank and race cowl. Very smart indeed…
With excellent low ownership and mileage provenance, this must be one of the nicest examples to be found of what remains a truly epic motorcycle
