These K5/K6 models are considered by many to be the ultimate GSX-R model due to it’s light weight, and 176bhp motor. Later models became hampered by emissions technology and were heavier, whereas the earlier models were less powerful. 176bhp only tells half the story, the mid range torque and performance of these bikes is a match for anything, even all this time on.
This particular bike has some nice options fitted which include a titanium Akrapovic exhaust, HEL braided brake lines, Suzuki race cowl, Carbon fibre rear hugger, carbon style top yoke protector, double bubble screen, Stomp tank grips, tank protector and R&G paddock stand bobbins
These K5/K6 models have an ever growing following. This one is in clean and presentable condition, completely fit and healthy. Some minor marks consistent with age to the fairings, but judiciously touched in and not particularly notable. Also minor marks to tail section through carrying soft luggage, but again not particularly notable. All in all a good example of a highly regarded sports bike, and quite price range for what it is
