This bike is quite lovely with a very low mileage of just 12000 miles. Lots of paperwork/documentation including the original service book, some service bills/invoices, old MOTs, and a clear HPI report. Just had Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic oil service and excellent matching Pirelli Diablo Rosso 3s are fitted. All the original Suzuki books/manuals and keys are present. New MOT provided at point of sale
The K1/K2/K3 model was a huge step forward from the earlier SRAD bikes, and was essentially an all new machine, with new frame and bodywork, massively revised engine, and far superior suspension. It all amounted to a smaller, lighter, faster, agile bike
This particular example is essentially stock standard and original, as Suzuki intended, other than for the fitment of a carbon fibre front hugger, blue tinted screen, frame protectors, tank pad and alloy paddock stand bobbins. A genuine Suzuki Race cowl is also fitted with the pillion seat provided
The indicators, rear number plate hanger and exhaust are all original items, and rare to be found
GSX-R600s of all denominations are totally docile, without temperament, and have always struck a wonderful balance between lightness and agility with scintillating rev happy power. With 115 odd crankshaft HP, these bikes will still top a genuine 160mph and cover the 1/4 mile in sub 11s. As a road bike, if well ridden, to this day it will have no problem keeping virtually anything honest in real terms.
An absolute joy to ride, great fun, and the bottom line is that it still looks superb, and very distinctive
