MODEL SUMMARY.
Wow ! Really needs to be seen, this one. Honda CBR900RR-2 Fireblade 954, registered 2002 02 Reg. 2 owners from new, with the original lady owner retaining it for 11 years. Both owners known to us, as originally purchased from first keeper in 2013, and then subsequently retailed to the second. 17000 miles. Just had Motul 5100 lube service, with some service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Excellent matching Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs fitted. Totally standard and original, as Honda intended, and as it left the showroom. The 954 is a significant model in the Fireblade’s history being the last of the Tadao Baba designed bikes, prior to the introduction of the bigger capacity CBR1000RR. Said by many to be the best Fireblade ever, due to it’s light weight and free revving, beautifully smooth engine, these are an incredibly refined super bike with peerless Honda build quality. As such, this is still a very light, and quick, untemperamental superbike more than capable of holding it’s own against far newer, more expensive bikes. This bike is a low mileage, low ownership example, and is immaculate, completely original and, we would say, of collector quality. 954s are no longer easily found like this, and are becoming scarcer as time goes by. If you are looking for a well cared for, original, fit and healthy 954, one to keep long term, this bike is it. MOTd October 2017
