With a steel frame designed by Harris Performance, twin coil over shocks, kick start (with electric combo) laced wire spoked rims and proper handlebar ‘clip ons’ these Continental GT 535s are about as retro as things get. They look truly superb, and obviously sound wonderful with the distinctive ‘thump’ that a bigger capacity 4 stroke single produces
Completely standard and as it left the Royal Enfield showroom other than for a shorter, fruitier ‘megaphone’ exhaust that only serves to enhance the ‘thumperish’ nature of this bike and just sounds fantastic, and a period style chrome headlamp cowl
Quick enough, with a top speed of around 80 mph, and the exhaust always emitting it’s characteristic throb, these bikes offer an extremely fine way to cruise about on a lovely summers day. A fabulous old skool retro Cafe Racer, reminiscent of a previous age. Very stylish, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character
In original, untouched, and immaculate condition, so if you are looking for one of these, to perhaps relive your youth, or just to enjoy, then this bike is about as good as it gets
