RSV4 models of this vintage were an absolute ‘Tour de Force’ universally agreed by the motorcycle press to be the most impressive and capable of all the 1000cc superbikes, and the model took winners’ honours in virtually every magazine ‘head to head’ going, with both the V4 motor and trick chassis being equally lauded
This is the Factory model with Aprilia’s formidable APRC electronics package comprising APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) ATC (Aprilia Traction Control) ALC (Aprilia Launch Control) AWC (Aprilia Wheelie Control) and AQS (Aprilia Quick Shift). The motor is a 65 degree V4 developing 180 bhp, and matched to a twin spar aluminium frame suspended by 43mm USD TiN coated fully adjustable Ohlins forks, a fully adjustable Ohlins rear Monoshock, and stopped by Gold Brembo radial front calipers with radial master cylinder, and a Gold Brembo rear caliper, each with braided brake hoses. It also features a carbon fibre front hugger, rear hugger and side panels
