This particular example has gorgeous Beowulf stainless exhausts fitted, that both equally look and sound superb, an MRA dark tinted double bubble screen, Colour coded seat cowl (and pillion seat) and a Carbon style tank pad.

Just 2 owners from new. The original owner retained possession for 13 years and took the mileage to 11000, with the second purchasing it in 2017 and only using sparingly on sunny days with the mileage now at 13000

A huge amount of  paperwork is present with service history  including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Additionally, it has it’s original PDI paperwork, a previous bill of sale, the original V5 + current, historical tax discs and original Datatag documents

The 2004 model year R6, designated 5SL, was a significant step forward for the model, with a much stronger, more powerful motor. An absolute screamer with a 15500 rpm redline, and with 123bhp allowing a standing 400m in sub 11s and a top speed in excess of 160mph. The motor just feels unburstable and wants to rev forever, and coupled with a scintillating, razor sharp chassis, and brakes to match, this R6 really was the ultimate 600cc Supersport

When the second owner purchased the bike in 2017 at 11000 miles, it was completely virginal and untouched in every way. Completely as it left the Yamaha factory. Since then it has had some tasteful extras fitted which include a super sweet sounding carbon Mivv exhaust, race cowl, tail tidy, shorter adjustable levers, alloy bar ends and paddock stand bobbins, Oxford heated grips, carbon style top yoke protector, fuel filler cap and tank pad, carbon fibre heel plates, and smaller LED indicators

All original parts are present and will be supplied, along with the original number plate displaying the supplying Yamaha dealer’s name, Portsmouth Yamaha

Essentially as good as it gets for one of these, it will appeal to a buyer whom places great importance on originality, condition, and low ownership and mileage provenance. Will not easily be found elsewhere
