Quite lovely 2006 55 Reg. BMW R1200 GS (non abs) in Ocean Blue/Granite Grey
This is a completely original, genuine, well cared bike that has been owned by the same family from new
38000 miles with it’s original stamped service book. Just had lube service with new spark plugs and has excellent matching Continental Conti Attack 3s fitted. Rear shock absorber unit rebuilt 1500 miles ago. MOTd September 2026. Clear HPI report. Owners’ manual/documents/all keys present
This is the original R1200GS. BMW’s ubiquitous adventure bike, launched in 2004, and certainly at that time many would say the finest motorcycle in the world. Whether or not that was the case, the big GS undoubtedly offered a range of qualities and capabilities not easily found elsewhere
This particular one is commendably clean, very presentable, and rides beautifully. Mechanically sound in every way
Significantly, it has 3 piece factory luggage (comprising 2 x panniers and 1 x topbox) complete with genuine BMW liner bags, a huge genuine BMW tank bag, Hepco & Becker engine crash protection bars and factory fitted hand guards and heated grips
It also benefits from a factory fitted BMW alarm
Standard equipment includes Trip computer, Adjustable Vario touring screen, Gear indicator and beautiful single sided aluminium swingarm with a very pretty offset wheel
Venerable 1170cc boxer twin offers decent, under stressed performance and the comfort and riding position of these bikes is almost legendary
This is a very good genuine bike, and with it’s luggage ready for further adventures ahead. A really complete, do it all, go anywhere touring bike for a very sensible price
5000 miles with it’s original stamped service book and service bills/invoices. New MOT provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present
Supplied new by Surrey based dealers T. Northeast Ltd, it has been maintained by them from new. The original bill of sale is present showing the purchase price to be £6399
Additionally this bike has the full Arrow performance exhaust system, fitted by the supplying dealer at 1785 miles in October 2020 at a cost of £1041 (original system also provided in sale)
These Caballeros are a most unusual bike, a retro scrambler-esqe machine, fairly rare to be found, and with a distinctly quirky and characterful nature. In Flat Track guise, as here, they are very rare indeed, with the Scrambler model much more plentiful
The 449cc single cylinder motor offers fuss free, understressed performance with a suitably fruity exhaust note, even more so with the upgraded Arrow system fitted to this one, and the bike has a high quality specification which includes Fantic FRS 41mm inverted forks, Fantic FRS rear monoshock, 300mm floating front disc with Bybre caliper, 2 channel switchable ABS, Cro-Moly frame with progressive link swing arm, Athena Get fuel injection with 40mm throttle body, LED headlight, LCD instrumentation, and black aluminium 19″ spoked wheels with chunky 130/80 and 140/80 tyres (in this case being new Mitas Highway items)
In addition to the upgraded Arrow performance exhaust system, this particular bike also has under bar mirrors, R&G heated grips, Koso tail tidy and a headlamp guard fitted
Key differences for the Flat Track model, as here, include the afforementioned 19″ wheels, mid controls and taller handlebars
They ride very well, totally untemperamental and very user friendly. Decent handling and brakes complement a willing motor
Characterful, fun, individual machine in every sense

These are a truly brilliant naked bike, the smaller brethren of the fabled V4 and aimed at the likes of KTM’s 890 Duke
The motor is a DOHC parallel twin developing 95bhp and allied to a 6 speed ‘box with slipper clutch. With a 270 degree crank firing order is has a natural character associated with this configuration, which only enhances the lithe chassis…
…with a dry weight of just 169kg, and a resultantly very healthy power to weight ratio, these bikes are an absolute hoot and supremely quick in the twisties
The specification includes 4 piston radially mounted Brembo calipers grabbing 320mm diameter floating discs, Multimap ABS, fully adjustable Kayaba suspension with 41mm diameter inverted forks, assymetrical aluminium swingarm, triple LED headlight unit with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) lightweight aluminium alloy rims and Aprilia electronic engine immobilisation system

MODEL SUMMARY.
Bimota YB11 Superleggera in Bimota Rosso/Bianco/Nero. A beautiful hand built, niche market, piece of Italian exotica….
YB11 signifies the 11th Yamaha powered model that Bimota produced, ‘Y’ designating Yamaha, ‘B’ Bimota, ’11’ 11th. This is the later specification model with electronic clocks and multifunction display
UK supplied and registered in May 1999, this bike has resided it’s entire 26 years here n the hands of British owners. 15000 miles with lots of documentation including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Lots of period paraphernalia/leaflets etc. Clear HPI report. All books/keys present
It has just had a Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic oil service, and other recent work includes ultrasonic carb clean/air filter/battery, and discs re-faced with new bobbins. Excellent matching Pirelli Diablo tyres, and excellent Gold chain and sprocket kit fitted
Bimota was founded in 1973 by Valerio Bianchi, Guiseppe Morri and Massimo Tamburini (later the designer of the Ducati 916 and MV AgustaF4) The name itself comes from the first two letters of the three respective surnames ‘Bi’ ‘Mo’ ‘Ta’
The company build beautiful, rare and exclusive motorcycles. They design and fabricate their own frame/chassis, adorn it with the finest componentry, and then hang a suitable motor in it from one of the mainstream manufacturers….
….the attention to detail is exquisite, and as such they are always very expensive to buy when new, generally 150-200% the price of a mainstream ‘equivalent’ top line bike (the YB11 was twice the price of a Honda Fireblade)
In the case of the YB11 Superleggera, the motor is a 1002cc in-line 4 cylinder 145bhp unit taken from Yamaha’s YZF1000 Thunder Ace. Fed by 4 x 38mm Mikuni carburettors, it’s a powerful, unburstable, characterful unit. When combined with the Super Leggera’s dry weight of 183kg (Superleggera meaning Superlight) this meant for a very fast motorcycle upon it’s launch in 1999, and of course it remains so to this day
The specification included a twin spar aluminium frame with beautiful machining, machined aluminium top yoke, fully adjustable 51mm diameter Paioli forks, twin 320mm diameter front discs with ‘Gold Line’ Brembo calipers and lightweight aluminium 3 spoke wheels produced by Italian firm Antera
This particular has been cared for, with one of it’s keepers retaining it for 15 years between 2007 to 2024. It remains in very good, original condition, essentially standard other than for the fitment of a sweet sounding carbon Zorstec exhaust
At this price level, it is hard to think of another bike that offers such a combination of rarity and exoticness. Just a lovely machine, that will enhance any collection, and instil pride of ownership in it’s keeper
Gorgeous MV Agusta Brutale 1090RR in Oro Metellizato/Bianco Perlescente with Rosso Frame and Argento Wheels, a supremely pretty, eye catching, rare and desirable machine
The Italians would say ‘Una cosa di belleza’ or ‘A thing of beauty’
Registered October 2017 on a ’67’ prefix, it has covered just 2000 miles from new and has it’s full MV presentation pack with all books/keys/documents present
Service history including it’s original stamped service/warranty booklet, all previous bills of sale, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had Elf Moto 4 Race 10w 60 fully synthetic oil service and has good matching Pirelli Diablo Supercorsas fitted. MOTd May 2026. Clear HPI certificate
1078cc (in spite of it’s 1090 nomenclature) motor with 144bhp / 115Nm allows bonkers performance, and this is a true ‘Super’ naked in every sense of the word. Brutale, or ‘Brutal’ is a very apt name, and it’s a motorcycle for riders whom really do want that raw, visceral feeling that only very powerful, slightly unruly machines provide
There have been many Brutale variants, and it can be confusing for some, but the bottom line is that these post 2012 1090RR models, with electronic aids, and both longer wheelbase and swingarm allow an experienced rider to get the most out of them vs the earlier, slightly more unruly 1078RR. Nevertheless, they remain more raw and exciting than virtually all their rivals, and, ok, a little less sophisticated which only makes them all the more desirable
It’s tiny in size, and has a short wheelbase which adds to the ‘occasion’ of exploiting it’s power
The specification includes a Chrome-Moly trellis frame, Single sided swingarm, Radial mount Brembo Monobloc calipers with 320mm dia. discs, 4 pot rear caliper with 210mm dia. disc, Fully adjustable 50mm dia. Marzochhi forks, Fully adjustable Sachs rear shock, Revised suspension calibration in respect of damping and valving, Cassette style gearbox, Slipper clutch, Adjustable rearsets, Lightweight Marchesini 10 spoke wheels and LCD/Analogue instruments
Nice options are fitted to this particular bike, which include a beautiful Tricolore seat finished in ‘Alcantara’ suede, Genuine MV Carbon fibre upper headlight/DRL shroud, Rizoma mirrors, Genuine MV Carbon fibre chain/swingarm protector, Bonomici Racing engine case protectors, R&G tail tidy and ever useful Optimate lead
Special and charismatic machine, beautifully built and finished. Rare in 1090RR guise, and even more so with just 2000 miles from new. In excellent condition, this is one of the ultimate Brutale variants with a distinct future collectability
