With it’s fully exposed V-Twin motor, chrome air box, exhausts, shocks, forks and and traditional spoked wheels, with a 19” diameter front, these XL 883L models subscribe to real old skool cool retro styling, and look and sound great. Low seat and torquey, untemperamental, fuel injected V-Twin make them very user friendly and eminently usable. This particular bike has a chrome solo rider back rest, sissy bar, luggage rack and pannier mountings, chrome engine bars, a leather tank pad panel and ‘Live to Ride’ fuel cap fitted. Has excellent matching Dunlop D401 tyres. An excellent way to venture in to Harley ownership, particularly for smaller, lighter individuals whom might find some other Harleys too big and heavy. Price range example of a 5VY 4th Generation YZF-R1, 2004 04 Reg. in Lava Red Metallic. 41800 miles with service history including it’s original service book, some service bills/invoices, the original bill of sale and old MOTs. This naturally grew the R1’s fearsome reputation with a 175mph top speed, with one road test achieving the 1/4 mile in 9.9s. This particular bike, whilst higher mileage, is a very clean and straight example, and offers an opportunity for someone to buy a 5VY model at a much reduced price when compared to others on the market. It offers strong performance from it’s torquey 1050cc triple motor, combined with secure, sporty handling and truly excellent ride quality, thanks to it’s slightly longer wheelbase than the closely related ST model. The factory pannier and topbox system, is simplicity itself in use and allows vast amounts of luggage to be carried with ease. ABS braking, proper instruments with a multifunction trip computer, superbly effective headlamp, a super comfortable gel seat, factory fitted heated grips and a 12v power point with USB interface further all add to the ease of use and overall practicality of these machines.
