MODEL SUMMARY.
Excellent example of a 2006 55 Reg. Suzuki GSX-R1000 K6 in extremely rare Metallic Marble Erakis Red/Metallic Mat Black No.2, a colour scheme available for 1 year only on the European spec. K6s. The K5/K6 is considered by many to be the ultimate GSX-R1000 model, and superbike of it’s era, due to it’s light weight, and 176bhp motor. Later models became hampered by emissions technology and were heavier, whereas the earlier models were less powerful. 176bhp only tells half the story, the mid range torque and performance of these bikes is a match for anything, even 10+ years on. Not many like this one left, having had just 3 owners from new, with the last owner purchasing it in May 2009 at just under 1000 miles. Current mileage is 16900, and the bike has clearly been well cared for.
