MODEL SUMMARY.
1999 V registered Ducati 996 BiPosto in Ducati Giallo with Remus carbon cans and UM222 chip. Last of the 1999 model year with gold frame but with lightweight Marchesini rims fitted by Baines Racing at Silverstone @ 500 miles in March 2000, all documented in the history. 20000 miles, 4 owners from new, with us buying the bike in 2014 as one to keep, but now superfluous to our requirements, and at that time subject to Shell Advance Ultra oil, Ducati Kevlar belts, Champion RA59GC plugs, Ducati fuel filter, JHP performance air filter kit and DID Gold chain/sprockets. Will have fresh belts and oil at point of sale, as due on time. Nice options fitted include Open clutch cover, Carbon fibre rear hugger/chain guard, Carbon fibre front sprocket cover, Carbon fibre ignition key shroud, Tricolore tank pad and Optimate flylead. The 916/996 really needs no introduction, one of the most significant, and certainly the most beautiful sports bikes of the ‘90s. This particular one is very clean and original, and totally fit and healthy, an excellent bike. Remus carbon cans sound great, with the UM222 chip giving perfect fuelling, resulting in a very nice, enjoyable 996. MOTd September 2018. All books/keys/documents/history present
