MODEL SUMMARY.

Beautiful example of a Triumph Daytona 955i in Tornado Red.

Registered July 1999 on a ‘T’ prefix, this is a Gen 1 example, essentially the same as the earlier T595 badged model

Just 2 owners from new, with the second owing it for the last 22 years since 2003, and now coming directly to us from him

12500 miles with it’s original stamped service book, original owner’s manual, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Recent Silkolene Pro 4 XP fully synthetic lube service and is MOTd May 2026. Clear HPI report. All documents/keys present

Sold to it’s original owner in 1999 for around £10000, the second owner purchased it in 2003, with full Triumph dealer history, from onyerTriumph in Aylesbury for £4400 at 7700 miles. That bill of sale is present, and confirms that the bike has only covered 4800 miles during his 22 years of ownership…

..during his tenure, the bike has been looked after by his local Triumph Main Agent, and two independent motorcycle shops, with each and every invoice/bill retained, ensuring a fully documented service record to the current mileage

As aforementioned, the Gen 1 Daytona 955i is essentially the same bike as the earlier T595,  other than for some minor cosmetic differences and a re-designed exhaust system. The T595 was the reborn (Hinckley) Triumph’s first ‘proper’ sports bike aimed at the likes of Honda’s Fireblade, Yamaha’s R1 and Ducati’s 916, all fantastically accomplished, very quick bikes of their day

The motor was a 130bhp triple of 955cc capacity, which provided immense aural delights, both from the induction side and the exhaust

Cosmetically, this bike is just lovely, and totally original. Completely standard other than for a Genuine Triumph Accessories Carbon TORS exhaust, Genuine Triumph Accessories colour coded seat cowl, Genuine Triumph Accessories carbon fibre tank protector and rear hugger

These are undoubtedly somewhat of a modern classic, and this one is not only a quite exceptional example, but it also has quite exceptional ownership and mileage provenance. This ensures that it will not easily be found elsewhere, and also that it must not be confused with lesser examples that in reality will not compare…

…it rides essentially as new, a total joy, and it goes without saying is far too good, and special, to be bought for general use, but would of course suit a collector, and would serve wonderfully for high days and holidays

With potential to be a sound investment, and whilst providing much enjoyment and instilling pride of ownership, it presents a rare opportunity for the right buyer
