This is the all new 650R model launched in 2019 to replace the outgoing 650F….
Key features were a revised motor with a 5% increase in peak power, an assist/slipper clutch, full LED lighting and new LCD instrumentation with gear position indicator, shift up light and multi function trip computer, a lighter frame that with other savings reduced weight by 6kg, adjustable 41mm diameter Showa Separate Front Fork (SFF) suspension and radially mounted front brake calipers with fully floating discs…
It all added up to a much more sporty, more focussed machine, whilst retaining the glorious useabiity and total lack of temperament that these bikes had always been known for
This particular bike also has a dark tinted screen, stainless radiator guard, adjustable levers, anodised brake reservoir cap, tail tidy and tank protection pad fitted
Deriving from the fabled ‘Hornet’ models of yesteryear, this is a fabulous do it all naked bike. Great fun, decently quick, lightweight, with easy handling. Quite brilliant…..
