The Gen 3 S1000RR was launched in 2015 and really moved the game on from the previous version. Significantly re-engineered in all key areas, these bikes, very briefly, had a new lighter frame, new lighter (by 3kg) exhaust system, Semi Active suspension previously seen on the HP4 model, completely revised software/electronics package, re-designed cylinder head/valves/cams/induction system to give 199bhp / 83 lb ft, and new electrical system and instruments. It all amounted to an almost new bike. The model improved year by year with continuously evolving electronics and control systems, and so it is very much a case of the later, the better with these bikes

An extremely rare, possibly unique opportunity to buy one of the first generation Daytona 675 Rs, one of the greatest Supersports ever produced, in effectively brand new unused condition

Supplied new by Philip Youles franchised Triumph dealers in Blackburn to it’s original owner living in Aberdeen. Registered October 2013 on a ’63’ prefix, it is the last of the Gen 1 675Rs with the underseat exhaust

Kept as a future investment the bike was only occasionally exercised, but nevertheless serviced by Shirlaws franchised Triumph dealers in Aberdeen at 40 miles in 2016, and again at 55 miles in 2018, at which point the bike’s only MOT to date was carried out by them. Purchased in May 2018 by the 2nd owner, the bike remained unused, but properly stored, until we bought it directly from him. Just subject to a Shell Advance fully synthetic oil service, the original service book reflects the three dealer services performed, and each of the individual invoices associated with them

In terms of paperwork and documentation present, we have neatly housed in a black zippable Triumph folder the original stamped service book, the service bills mentioned, the sole MOT, the original owners’ manual, original owners’ pack with various promotional Triumph material and Datatag information, and both keys complete with aluminium number tag

The 675 R is the ultimate incarnation of the Daytona 675, itself an extremely accomplished machine, and this, the first generation is undoubtedlty the prettiest defined by it’s afforementioned underseat exhaust. The powerplant is the ususal 675cc triple cylinder unit producing 125ps, with a scintillating 14000 rpm red line with sound track to match

The specification includes the best from Ohlins and Brembo, having Ohlins NiX 30 43mm diameter fully adjustable USD forks, Ohlins TTX36 fully adjustable monoshock rear suspension, Brembo monobloc 4 piston calipers with fully floating 310mm diameter front discs and Brembo radial master cylinder, and Brembo rear brake caliper with 220mm disc. A Triumph Quickshifter is fitted as standard, working in conjunction with the ECU and the clutch is a ‘slipper’ unit allowing seamless high (engine) speed downchanges

The bike uses a high pressure die cast twin spar frame with twin sided cast aluminium alloy swingarm, and has cast aluminium wheels with red pinstripes, LCD instrumentation with gear position indicator, programmable gearchange lights, analogue tacho, digital speedo, fuel gauge and clock, carbon fibre infill panels, carbon fibre front mudguard and a carbon fibre rear hugger

This particular bike has the absolutely must have Triumph factory fitted option of a Akrapovic titanium exhaust with carbon fibre tip, along with a Genuine Triumph Accessories colour coded race cowl, Pillion peg blanking plates and ever useful Aluminium paddock stand bobbins

This is a pure, analogue machine, and the last of a breed that will never be seen again. Dynamically these are an incredible bike, supremely capable, and the 675 Triple is a motor of immense character, all the time emitting it’s characteristic wail. Without overstating matters, and without doubt, this is one of the purest two wheel riding experiences on offer

As one would reasonably expect, this bike is in brand new condition. Untouched, virginal, there are no other words needed. For the right buyer it presents a wonderful opportunity and will compliment and grace any bike collection, at any level

This is an F6 model, registered in 2008, with PGM-Fi fuel injection. The last of this particular model, these are a truly great little bike offering decent performance from their very willing, smooth revving 110 bhp ‘four. Allied to a user friendly chassis, it all amounts to a very capable machine, which will happily hang on to the ‘tails’ of more expensive, exotic machines, in a remarkably fuss free fashion

Lots of nice options are fitted which include fork protectors, crash bobbins, a Powerbronze rear hugger, Honda HRC carbon style tank pad and fuel filler surround, wheel rim decals, gold chain and rear fender extender

This bike has very low mileage and excellent ownership provenance. Sadly recorded CAT N in November 2017 due to cosmetic damage. The bike was supplied to it’s original owner by Honda franchised dealers Hatfields of Crowthorne, and also to it’s second owner. We bought the bike directly from the second owner and then sold it to the third in 2022

The SP was launched in 2014 and was so much more than a cosmetically enhanced model. The most advanced, lightest, fastest, best handling Fireblade of all time at that point, it significantly had a Factory Blueprinted engine with power output quoted @ 181bhp, HRC revised inlet tract, cylinder head and exhaust system, Fully adjustable 43mm dia. BPF Ohlins forks, Fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock unit, Gold Brembo 4-piston calipers with fully floating 320mm dia. discs, Lightweight rims finished in Gold, Revised lightweight rear subframe and unique single seat unit, Revised handlebar clip ons and footpeg locations, Assisted slipper clutch, LCD instrumentation, Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) and a Factory fitted HISS immobiliser

This particular example is essentially standard and just as Honda intended, other than for an  MRA smoked screen (original supplied) R&G Aero frame protecters, an R&G tail tidy, alloy paddock stand bobbins and Armourfend paintwork protection from new. Additionally it has a Datatool Tracker fitted, and is Datatagged

In the ‘real world’ a Fireblade of this vintage this remains one of the fastest, lithe and agile superbikes that can be bought, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else. When those virtues are enhanced with a blueprinted motor, Ohlins suspension, reduced weight etc, etc, as with these SP models, you genuinely have what is one of the greatest road going Superbikes ever produced, at any price.

Also worth mentioning that these bikes look utterly fantastic too, with the HRC colours, Gold Brembos and Gold rims enhancing an already pretty machine no end.

These MT-10s are one of the modern ‘Super Naked’ breeds, along with KTM’s 1290R SuperDuke, and Aprilia’s 1100 V4 Tuono, offering bonkers performance, handling and braking but with a more than reasonable amount of comfort. With 160ps on tap, they are a hugely indulgent machine

With a steel frame designed by Harris Performance, twin coil over shocks, kick start (with electric combo) laced wire spoked rims and proper handlebar ‘clip ons’ these Continental GT 535s are about as retro as things get. They look truly superb, and obviously sound wonderful with the distinctive ‘thump’ that a bigger capacity 4 stroke single produces

This particular bike is completely standard and as it left the Royal Enfield showroom other than for a Givi tinted fly screen 

Quick enough, with a top speed of around 80 mph, and the exhaust always emitting it’s characteristic throb, these bikes offer an extremely fine way to cruise about on a lovely summers day. A fabulous old skool retro Cafe Racer, reminiscent of a previous age. Very stylish, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character

In original, untouched, excellent condition, so if you are looking for one of these, to perhaps relive your youth, or just to enjoy, then this bike is will suit very nicely
