The particular bike is completely standard and untouched other than for the fitment of a Triumph Genuine Accessories fly screen, Triumph Genuine Accessories tank pad and  Triumph Genuine Accessories paddock stand bobbins which were supplied and fitted by the supplying Triumph dealer

Dynamically these really are an incredible little bike, properly quick with handling and agility up there with the very best. There really isn’t much that will go through set of twisty bends quicker, and the 765 Triple is a motor of immense character, all the time emitting it’s characteristic wail

The Ducati Hypermotard  is a quite brilliant supermoto-esqe machine aimed squared at Aprilia’s Dorsoduro and various offerings from KTM. The ‘939’ version utilises a Liquid Cooled L-Twin ‘Testastretta’ 8v motor of 937cc and developing 113hp/98Nm. This kind of grunty power, coupled with exceptional chassis and braking capability, adds up to a hugely fun motorcycle

A rare opportunity to acquire a pristine, 1 owner from new, 2002 02 registered Aprilia RSV1000 Mille R with just 4100 miles covered

In Aprilia Giallo Brio (Yellow Pearl) and Blue Forged OZ wheels this bike is direct to us from it’s sole owner whom purchased it new in July 2002 from Motorcycle City, at that time a UK authorised Aprilia dealer

These Milles are a bike of  much character, the 60 degree V-Twin motor produces 130bhp and a grunty 75 lb/ft of torque, and of course offers the kind of soundtrack only bikes such as this can. The ‘R’ model of this vintage offered 43mm USD Ohlins forks, Ohlins rear shock unit, Ohlins steering damper, the afforementioned lightweight forged OZ wheel finished in Blue, a lighter rear subframe, Aprilia race cowl (with pillion seat) carbon fibre front and rear huggers, instrument panel cover and fairing louvres over and above the standard Mille

The mechanical specification included the wonderful, musical, liquid Cooled 60 deg ‘Bicilindrico’ V-Twin 8v motor of 998cc capacity, aluminium alloy box section twin spar chassis, aluminium alloy ‘double banana’ swingarm ‘Gold’ Brembo calipers, 320mm diameter floating discs, 51mm diameter throttle bodies, twin spark ignition and a lightweight titanium exhaust with twin outlets

As to be expected this particular bike is in totally original and exceptional condition, and with it’s 1 owner ownership provenance, and very low mileage of just 4100 miles would be very hard to find elsewhere. Aesthetically it is completely stock, standard and original, just as it left the Aprilia showroom all those years ago othan than for a PowerBronze dark blue tinted screen

We have the original service book, original bill of sale, some service bills/invoices and old MOTs. It has just had a Silkolene Comp 4 oil service, new NGK DCPR9E x4 spark plugs, a new Yuasa YTX14-BS battery, and a new MOT will be provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. The bike runs the well documented, considered essential, de-restriction modifications with revised freer flowing airbox, K&N air filter, de-baffled (standard) exhaust and ECU ‘wire snip’ which enables a slightly richer map. It retains it’s original, well rated, Aprilia ‘RP58’ ECU chip and runs, rides and fuels very well

Significantly, the bike is also provided with a genuine Aprilia Titanium (Ti) Evo Race Exhaust and Gabro ECU chip (not fitted) These exhausts are now extremely rare and very sought after. The exhaust was purchased new from RSVR Racing in April 2003, with the purchase invoice in the file, and has spent minimal time on the bike

As we have said in other adverts of ours, for both cars and bikes, we place enormous importance on ownership, mileage, and originality provenance. It is those things that define the truly excellent examples, and which will ensure a car or bike will always be sought after with ever increasing rarity. The 900 RR-X is the last of the ‘original’ carb fed ‘Blades, prior to the introduction of the 929 RR-Y. The Fireblade was the most significant bike of it’s time when launched in 1992, and set the tone for all future sports bike development. The key thing was it’s light weight compared to other big sports bikes such as Yamaha’s Thunderace and Kawasaki’s ZX-9R. Between 1992 and 1999, the Fireblade was continually honed and developed, ultimately culminating in this model, the RR-X, the last of the carb fed models, and the last of an era as the later Fi ‘Blades were very different bikes

This particular example is totally standard and original, other than for a Pyramid rear hugger and it’s colour coded gold wheels which clearly suit the bike very well. Specified by the original owner, both the hugger and the gold wheels have been on this bike from new. Everything else, from it’s windscreen, to it’s indicators, to it’s bar ends, to it’s number plate hanger, to it’s heel plates, to it’s exhaust, are exactly as when it left the Honda showroom almost 23 years ago. It also retains it’s number plate from the supplying dealer of 21+ years ago when sold to the 2nd owner

This bike will clearly appeal to any buyer that places great importance on originality, ownership provenance, and low mileage, three of the most important factors, in our view, when purchasing any collectable car or motorcycle, and it must not be confused with more plentiful, lesser examples which in reality just do not compare

This bike has had an extremely charmed, easy existence and with it’s genuine low mileage of 10400 miles rides quite beautifully. Fireblades of this era are so comfortable compared to more modern sportsbikes, as well as being totally docile and untemperamental. In essence, just a lovely machine to ride

Relatively rare opportunity, without doubt a minor classic in the making, and one which can be enjoyed whilst serving as a good long term investment

These were KTM’s first road bike with a 4 stroke engine, and were produced in limited numbers for each of the production years. This is a 4th Edition bike, numbered 0131

These early 620s are becoming increasingly thin on the ground and hard to come by in particularly good condition. This bike has covered just 11000 miles from new, and is in truly lovely condition. A ‘little gem’ of a bike

The very high mechanical specification included the, then new, LC4 liquid cooled 4 stroke motor in 609cc guise, adjustable WP suspension, Brembo calipers, the afforementioned Akront chrome spoked rims, Dellorto PHM 40 SD carburettor, KDC-CDI electronic ignition, polished aluminium swingarm, twin headlamps and twin clock instruments with speedometer/tachometer. Electric start was found on later Duke 1s, and this bike most importantly does have this

A fruity FP exhaust is also fitted to this one, which sounds quite superb, and with a removable db killer

Low revving ‘thumping’ single makes all the right noises in a way that only big singles can and the agility and sheer rideability of these bikes is almost legendary

This is an early example of BMW’s ubiquitous adventure bike, launched in 2004, and certainly at that time many would say the finest motorcycle in the world. Whether or not that was the case, the big GS undoubtedly offered a range of qualities and capabilities not easily found elsewhere

This particular one is particularly clean, even exceptional, totally original with excellent ownership provenance and low mileage. The only area it shows it’s age is the front engine panel immediately behind the front wheel. Other ‘hotspot’ areas such as the engine barrels, valve gear covers, swingarm, rear shock area etc, etc are in truly excellent condition

Nice options fitted, including 3 piece factory luggage (comprising 2 x panniers and 1 x topbox) Remus stainless exhaust, PowerBronze comfort rider/pillion seats, TouraTech tank bag, Engine crash protection bars, Factory fitted hand guards and heated grips

This is an early VFR800F, and Fi-W, being the first of the Fi Fuel Injected VFRs, identified by it‘s manual ‘choke‘ (fast idle) and lack of HISS immobiliser. Following on from the VFR750, this model of VFR was referred to as the finest bike in the world by many journals upon it’s launch in 1997. The V4 engine with it’s gear driven cams has a feeling of complete unburstability, with a unique sound track, and good examples of these bikes remain to this day machines of  total completeness, being fast, comfortable, a competent sports bike or tourer, and with Honda’s build quality at it’s finest. A truly wonderful, high quality motorcycle
