MODEL SUMMARY.

Wow ! Really needs to be seen, this one. Honda CBR900RR-2 Fireblade 954, registered 2002 02 Reg. 2 owners from new, with the original lady owner retaining it for 11 years. Both owners known to us, as originally purchased from first keeper in 2013, and then subsequently retailed to the second. 17000 miles. Just had Motul 5100 lube service, with some service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Excellent matching Michelin Pilot Power 2CTs fitted. Totally standard and original, as Honda intended, and as it left the showroom. The 954 is a significant model in the Fireblade’s history being the last of the Tadao Baba designed bikes, prior to the introduction of the bigger capacity CBR1000RR. Said by many to be the best Fireblade ever, due to it’s light weight and free revving, beautifully smooth engine, these are an incredibly refined super bike with peerless Honda build quality. As such, this is still a very light, and quick, untemperamental superbike more than capable of holding it’s own against far newer, more expensive bikes. This bike is a low mileage, low ownership example, and is immaculate, completely original and, we would say, of collector quality. 954s are no longer easily found like this, and are becoming scarcer as time goes by. MODEL SUMMARY.

Exceptional example of a 2006 06 Reg. Honda Fireblade RR-6 in Metallic Silver and Black. Immaculate, cherished condition. 3 owners from new, and 22000 miles with service history, including it’s original stamped service book and old MOTs. The RR6 model moved the Fireblade game on, having greater mid-range performance than the earlier RR4/RR5, with a higher revving motor accompanying shorter gearing. A shorter wheelbase sharpened the handling further and front discs were slightly larger, in addition to minor styling/detail changes to fairings, cowlings and the exhaust. Previous model technology carried over included HESD – Honda Electronic Steering Stamper, a factory fitted Honda HISS immobiliser, radial Tokico calipers, fully adjustable USD forks and a fully adjustable rear mono shock. Has a Honda Race Cowl (with pillion seat and pegs) Tinted screen, R&G paddock stand bobbins and HRC carbon tank pad fitted. As new matching Michelin Pilot Road 2s. In the ‘real world’ this remains an extremely fast, lithe and agile superbike, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else, at any price. Exceptionally clean example of a 5VY 4th Generation YZF-R1, 2004 04 Reg. in Lava Red Metallic with just 13000 miles covered. Previously sold by us to last owner. Has some particularly nice bits fitted including stainless Scorpion de-cat exhausts, Power Commander 5, Dynojet Quickshifter, Pipercross air filter, Carbon fibre front hugger, Paddock stand bobbins, Tank pad and a Tail tidy. META Category 1 alarm/immobiliser. The 5VY 4th Generation bikes were a completely new model and for the first time ever a power to weight ratio of 1:1 was met for a production machine i.e 172bhp for 172kg weight (or 1000 bhp/tonne) for a ‘dry’ bike. This naturally grew the R1’s fearsome reputation with a 175mph top speed, with one road test achieving the 1/4 mile in 9.9s. Exceptional example of a 2009 09 Reg Honda CB1000R A-9 in Pearl Cool White. This is the C-ABS model with combined braking effort. 2 owners from new, 13700 miles with service history including it’s original stamped service book, service bills and invoices, and old MOTs. The CB1000R utilises a de-tuned 130bhp Fireblade motor, allied to a smart, stylish chassis with a high technical spec. including 310mm dia. floating discs, LCD Pro-Arm Single sided swingarm, fully adjustable 43mm dia. USD forks and a fully adjustable rear mono shock. Other spec. includes high tech LCD instruments and a factory fitted HISS engine immobiliser. One of those bikes that is very easy to go very fast on, these are a very comfortable and capable machine aimed at the likes of Kawasaki‘s Z1000, or Triumph’s Speed Triple and, arguably more extreme (and compromised) bikes such as Aprilia‘s Tuono.
