Excellent example of a becoming ever rarer, and increasingly collectable, BMW R1100S Boxer Cup Replica in the early unique Boxer Cup ’Randy Mamola’ insignia Blue/White colour scheme.  Factory fitted ABS. This is the very first of the ‘BCRs’ the original and rarest single spark version of which just 135 came to the UK. Later 2003 versions onwards, including subsequent Mamola liveried bikes, and the Red, White and Blue versions had the twin spark engine, and were normal production machines. These early bikes were built by BMW in limited numbers, 1000 produced in total for the worldwide markets, to celebrate the success of the BMW Boxer Cup race series’ that was spearheaded by 500GP star Randy Mamola, taking place in both Europe and the US during the early/mid 2000s, and which were one make series’ based upon production R1100 S models with minimal modifications. Just 11800 miles, with documentation to support, including service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had engine oil, gearbox oil and final drive oil replaced, new Metzeler Sportec M7 RRs, EBC HH sintered brake pads front/rear and battery. As mentioned above, this is the first version of the Boxer Cup Replica with the single spark engine, a rare version of a rare bike in any form. Just 135 were allocated to BMW (GB) Ltd and these early bikes are acknowledged as being the most sought after and collectable of the breed. Original in every way, it benefits from the key factory fitted option offered on these of Laser stainless/chrome sports exhausts and associated ECU chip (with dyno printout and the original exhausts and ECU chip also supplied) and BMW panniers (with mounting brackets) Standard Boxer Cup trick parts include gorgeous carbon fibre huggers, engine covers and full belly pan, single sided swingarm with wide offset rear wheel in blue, and complimenting matching blue front wheel, all adding to the overall style and prettiness of these machines. This bike also has a gel seat, front fender extender and useful Optimate flylead fitted. Original toolkit and puncture repair kit are present and complete, as are factory fitted BMW heated grips. Totally superb Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber in Nero Massicio with Orange Check Decals. 2016 16 Reg. Piaggio + 1 owner. 3000 miles. All warranty work and recalls completed, notably the rear seal issue that affected many of these bikes. These really are a wonderful machine, of immense character. As with all ‘Guzzis, the powerplant is a 90 deg V-Twin, in this case air/oil cooled, and mounted transversely with the cylinders slung out the side, so to speak. Power and torque figures of 55bhp and 62 Nm are developed at lowly engine speeds of 6250rpm and 3000rpm respectively, ensuring unfussed, under stressed cruising. The Bobber model is an exercise in retro style with 16” matt black spoked rims, wearing the Moto Guzzi logo in grey, and sporting a ‘fat’ 130/90 front tyre, as per the original US dirt track Bobbers. Fuel tank, side panels and twin exhausts are finished in Matt Black and it has a slightly longer wheelbase than lesser V9 models. Black ‘drag back’ bars and rear footpegs mounted 100mm further back, a smart faux suede seat unit, aluminium fuel filler cap, alloy detailed switchgear and a beautiful analogue/LCD instrument clock with chrome bezel add to the overall style and feel. Whilst the styling is retro, the mechanical specification is properly up to date with MGCT (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione) 2 channel ABS, USB interface, a 320mm front disc and Brembo caliper, multifunction fuel computer, gear position and shift indicator. This particular bike also has a black tinted Dart flycreen fitted, which makes a huge difference at motorway speeds. Just a wonderful bike for cruising in the summer months ahead. A relatively rare sight on our roads, and arguably intrinsically more desirable than the more plentiful rivals from Triumph, Ducati and Harley Davidson. If you are looking for a leisurely cruiser, something ultra stylish and with character in abundance, these Guzzi V9 Bobbers take some beating. All books/keys/documents present. Last of the line for this model, registered just prior to the introduction of the very good, but rather less distinctive K1 model. 2000 X Reg. 5 owners from new, with the last owning it since 2015, and it’s a testament to the genuity of this bike that he bought it from franchised dealers J W Groombridge in East Sussex, a much older bike than they would normally be prepared to retail. Just 22000 miles with numerous bills/invoices, old MOTs, VOSA mileage print out and a clear HPI report. Brand new Bridgestone Battlax front tyre with good matching rear. Standard and original other than for a Blue Flame exhaust can, Blue tint double bubble screen and GSX-R heel plates. Also has a chain oiler fitted and paddock stand bobbins. These SRAD (Suzuki Ram Air Direct) 600s are, as mentioned, a distinctive looking machine, offering a 150 mph + top speed, and acceleration that despatches a standing ¼ mile in the 11 second bracket. The motor is an absolute screamer, constantly emitting the familiar GSX-R induction howl, courtesy of it’s 4 Mikuni carbs, with, in this case, the Blue Flame can adding a super sweet exhaust note. Time to sell our own Range Rover

Very clean and original Range Rover 3.9 V8 EFi Vogue SE Auto. Now referred to as a Range Rover ‘Classic‘ although that is a modernism and not accurate for a model of this vintage. Registered 1993 on a K prefix it wears a personalised plate that will stay with it. In Plymouth Blue metallic with Grey leather trim and Walnut cappings. Mileage is a genuine 99000 miles, and it has only had 5 owners from new. Recent Valvoline VR1 20w/50 Mineral oil service, new starter motor, new PAS pump, new plugs and leads, new PAS, fan and alternator drive belts. It has good matching Goodyear Wrangler tyres and numerous service bills/invoices and old MOTs are present. This is a 1992 Model Year car with a ‘JA’ chassis prefix, and thus is the very last of the conventional coil sprung cars, prior to the introduction of air suspension in mid 1993, and which of course can be problematic with a vehicle of this age. As a Vogue SE, it was the ultimate factory model when new, costing around £36000 to it’s original owner. As a ’JA’ model supplied in Plymouth Blue, it has colour coded alloys (this applied only to specific colours) and the standard Vogue SE spec. was most comprehensive. We ran 2 of these back in the mid ’90s as our tow cars for our car sales business. Now, predominantly motorcycle dealers, we bought this car 3 years ago as a personal vehicle, purely as a bit of fun to trundle around in during the summer months with an air of nostalgia. It struck us then as being a particularly nice example, and we travelled 300 miles to buy it, trailered back by our ever faithful Discovery 3. We loved our ‘Rangies’ back in the day, and this car ably demonstrates why. The 3.9 V8 motor sounds like a V8 should, less ’burbly’ than the earlier 3.5 version, but so much smoother and quicker, and offers ample, low revving, under stressed performance, with an unburstable, unbreakable feel. Brakes are astonishingly good, and the handling actually very agile thanks to the big anti roll bars and last of the line coil spring suspension that this one has. These can be easily hustled along very nicely. The car remains as regal as it ever was, a timeless classic with a high, commanding driving position. This particular car is very original, and genuinely clean. It is fit and healthy, and drives beautifully. However, it is an original, well cared for unrestored car, and so of course shows signs of age throughout. Electrics can be very problematic on these cars, and whilst most things work as they should, it does have the odd foible, notably the infamous electric seat/mirror switch control that sometimes works, but more often not, along with the occasional temperamental fan and window switch. Bodywork is clean, but of course with the aluminium panels there will always be minor signs of corrosion, this one is no different, but does not have anything of particular note. It is very tidy and most presentable, and looks extremely well. To summarise, this a fair, honest and accurate assessment of this car, we feel that it would compare very well to others in this price range, and be head and shoulders above cheaper examples. It is however, a 26 year old Land Rover and therefore needs to be viewed, with realistic expectations. We expect buyers to understand what can be reasonably expected of a vehicle of this age and type. MOTd February 2019

MODEL SUMMARY.

Time to sell our little hobby bike BSA Bantam D10. Registered 1966 on a ‘D’ suffix, this is the first of the D10s with the 10hp 175cc motor and a 3 speed gearbox. Frame and engine numbers match being D103*2, as indeed they would have done when new on a Bantam of this vintage. In Red and Silver it is commendably clean for it’s age, of course with a distinct patina, but genuinely in good cosmetic order, and very smart. Original pressed rear number plate and hanger, and front mudguard radially mounted number plate, along with all original switchgear add to the overall sense of originality of this particular example. Original chrome wheels in good order with only minimal pitting. Useful mechanical upgrades include a Boyer electronic ignition system and Rex Caunt Racing solid state rectifier/regulator, both operating in harmony with the original 6v electrical system, and ensuring a strong spark, and faultless charging system. In addition to these, since we’ve had it it’s had a new alternator, new SAE40 classic mineral oil in the gearbox, crankcase drained, new spark plug and lead, new front brake cable, new battery, new fuel pipe and filter, repairs to some of the original wiring, and carb strip/clean/rebuild. These are the definitive starter classic, but are so much more than that. The little 2 stroke motor is so willing and just sounds so sweet, and with a capful of Castrol R smells fine too. The chassis is super light and incredibly agile, and the combination of all of this is a 50 year old motorcycle that’ll continue to put a huge grin on it’s rider’s face, not to mention passers by as you lose them in a haze of blue smoke ! Historic vehicle tax, and MOT exemption from May 2018, although we will happily put a new MOT on it for it’s new owner

WOW ! 2008 Model Year Yamaha XT660 X in Sports White and Red (colour code PWS1) Just 5800 miles from new with service history, including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had Shell Advance AX7 lube service. As new Michelin Pilot Road 2 2CTs. Last owner since 2012 and purchased at 2000 miles. Has Carbon Can Co. sports exhausts (originals supplied) Yamaha hand guards, Yamaha LED indicators, Tinted screen, Belly pan, Takasago Excel red rim decals and a Tail tidy. ‘XT’ plate also suits well. Also has a META CAT 1 alarm/immobiliser, with certificate, and is Datatagged from new. The X660 ‘X’ is the Supemoto of the XT660 range with wider 17″ diameter wheels/tyres, larger 320mm dia. floating front disc, Brembo 4-pot caliper and stiffer suspension. Thumping 659cc single cylinder motor gives grunty performance and long travel trailie suspension ensures that these are a great ‘do it all, go anywhere’ fun bike under all conditions, and particularly well suited to ‘green laning’ and off road riding. This particular bike has led a charmed life in that it would appear to have only covered road miles, and very few of them as well. As such, it is in genuinely immaculate and original condition, and quite unusually clean for one of these bikes. Looks a treat in traditional Red and White Yamaha colours with it’s chunky spoked wheels. MODEL SUMMARY.

Clean, straight and original example of a becoming ever rarer BMW R1100 S in Bright Red (colour code 735) 1999 T Registered . 43000 miles. Just been serviced including engine, gearbox and final drive oils. As new Bridgestone BT021s. Recent brake pads, rear shock assembly and exhaust centre section. Numerous service bills/invoices. This model spawned the Boxer Cup Replica version, which are now much sought after with prices climbing. This is an early price range example, in clean condition, a bike of much individuality and character with it’s hanging out engine cylinders and gorgeous single sided swingarm and rear wheel assembly. Familiar low revving under stressed Boxer Twin has oodles of torque and ‘roll off’ engine braking. Carbon fibre front mudguard with fender extender and rear hugger are further stylish touches. Factory fitted adjustable steering damper. Becoming fewer and further between, an R1100S such as this offers decent pace, comfort and all round usability, and will always be a little different from the crowd. MODEL SUMMARY.

Totally wonderful Triumph Bonneville T100 865 EFi in Jet Black with Fusion White infill. 2010 60 Reg. and 11700 miles from new with franchised Triumph dealer history, including it’s original stamped service book and all old MOTs. Sold and serviced 400 miles ago to it’s last owner by franchised dealers Youles Motorcycles with bill of sale present. The T100 is very much the top of the line Bonneville from this era with an abundance of high quality chrome, including it’s traditional spoked chrome wheels with larger 19” dia. front, engine cases, cam covers, handlebars, mirrors, tank badge and instrument bezels. This bike additionally has chrome side panels, engine bars, bar ends, mudguard embellishments, Motone brake reservoir cap and a period style luggage rack. Other key options include wonderful sounding TEC Systems Stainless 2-2 Sports Exhausts, Scott Oiler, Gel seat, Custom anodised fuel cap and an Analogue clock. Old Skool Black/Silver pressed number plate (with original) is also a nice touch and rubber knee pads, twin clocks and black and silver cylinder barrels complete the T100 specification. These usable and characterful retro Hinckley built Triumphs remain true to their Meriden predecessors from an altogether more relaxed, civilised age.
