MODEL SUMMARY.

Suzuki DR-Z400S Y Dual Sport in Blue/White. Registered April 2002 on an ’02’ prefix

These are brilliant bikes that provide an incredible amount of fun. Motive power is by Suzuki’s venerable 398cc DOHC liquid cooled single 4v motor developing 39bhp, dry sumped and mated to a 5 speed ‘box and wet clutch

This one has come to us in part exchange and just had new chain and sprockets.  It has decent matching tyres fitted, and is MOT’d until October 2024

Long travel suspension incorporates fully adjustable 49mm diameter inverted forks at the front, with a fully adjustable monoshock at the rear. In terms of braking, a large single 310mm diameter front disc with 2 piston caliper works alongside a 220mm diameter rear disc, and proves an excellent, most effective combination. The tyres wrap around a 21″ diameter front spoked wheel, and 18″ diameter rear

Very light, with strong brakes, super agile handling and a ‘thumper’ engine that thrives on being worked, it all adds up to an absolute hoot of a bike, and one of the best things you can have for less than perfect weather conditions, or a bit of green laning on a Sunday morning

The bike clearly shows signs of use during it’s 22 years, but remains very presentable, and is completely fit and healthy. Great fun…

MODEL SUMMARY.

Ducati 999 BiPosto in Ducati Rosso Anniversario (Anniversary Red) with Red frame and Black wheels

A UK supplied bike first registered in June 2007 on an ’07’ prefix this is one of the very last of the 999s. The previous owner purchased it in 2013

35000 miles with service history. New timing belts, fresh Shell Ultra advance fully synthetic oil and spark plugs provided at point of sale along with a new MOT. Original service book + all original manuals. Service bills/invoices. Old MOTs. Clear HPI report. All documents/keys present

The Ducati 999 followed the much loved 916/996/998 Massimo Tamburini designed series. Penned by Pierre Terblanche, it became one of the most successful race bikes every produced by Ducati Corse, winning 3 out of 5 World Superbike titles between 2003 and 2007.

It was a huge step forward in many ways, not least being the first motorcycle in the world to utilise CAN bus wiring and electronics, that being in simplistic terms where individual cables and wires serve more than one purpose, or circuit

All 999 variants had the ‘Testastretta’ motor, previously seen in the earlier 996R and 998 models, and literally translated as ‘Narrow Head’ enabling a reduced included angle between the valves, this allowing bigger valves, and necessitating significant re-engineering and re-location of one half of the desmodromic valve gear

The 2005 model year bikes were uprated over earlier versions, and the motor now developed 140 bhp and 80 lb ft. They also displayed some styling and detailing differences, not least being the trademark trellis frame in Red

The mechanical specification was impressive and included 43mm diameter Showa forks, fully adjustable for compression and rebound with TiN anti friction coating, a progressive linkage rear suspension with fully adjustable Showa monoshock, 320mm floating discs with 4 piston calipers, Weber Marelli engine management with 54mm throttle bodies and a very light and stiff box section swingaram

This bike has been much loved, and well cared for by it’s previous owner, and it’s condition completly belies it’s mileage. It is a genuine bike, and is very much entry level money for a big capacity Ducati Superbike. With new belts, oil, plugs and 12 months MOT it will come to it’s new owner fully sorted, needing nothing at all and ready for the season ahead

MODEL SUMMARY.

Ducati Panigale R Gen 2 in Ducati Rosso Anniversario with Brushed Aluminium Tank. 2017 17 Reg. A piece of Italian art

These are the last of the big twin homologation bikes, based on the later 1299 model but retaining an 1198cc motor for motorsport purposes. The 1198cc SuperQuadro motor is essentially the same as that used in the very exotic Superleggera model, developing 205bhp and 101 lb/ft. This one is a late registered example, a proper ‘end of an era’ machine

The last keeper purchased from franchised dealers Pro-Twins in Surrey during 2019, with the bill of sale present. 6300 miles with franchised Ducati dealer service history including it’s original service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Recent Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic oil service. Excellent matching Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V2s fitted. Clear HPI report. New MOT provided at point of sale. All books/history/documents/keys present

An utterly fabulous machine, the original Panigale 1199 R launched in 2013 and shared virtually nothing in common with it’s forebear, the 1198 R. Most significantly, it was frameless, using it’s engine and airbox as it’s chassis where the engine itself acts as a stressed member.

The Panigale R Gen 2 followed in 2015, based upon the then new Panigale 1299. List price when new in 2015 was £28995 and the model was, in common with all the Ducati R models that preceded it, the ultimate expression of Ducati’s engineering prowess. It’s raison d’etre solely for the purpose of homologating key parts for racing purposes. It goes without saying that these bikes are rare, exclusive and have a distinct current and future collectability.

The motor itself was heavily modified over the standard ‘SuperQuadro’ unit, and in effect the highly exotic Superleggera motor that had launched in 2014 on the lightweight model that bore it’s name. It significantly had titanium rods, a lighter flywheel, DLC anti friction coated rocker arms and revised Mitsubishi fuelling/mapping. This resulted in an internal weight saving of 1.3 kg, lending itself to faster ‘spinning up’ and allowing an increased rev limit of 12000 rpm (+500 rpm over lesser versions)

It runs shortened gearing at 15/41, and has a full ‘Racing Evo’ Akrapovic titanium exhaust system. With these changes crankshaft power grew to 205bhp. And so, the already fearsome ‘big’ Panigale, became even faster, even noiser, even more monstrous, and of course, even more desirable.

The ‘R’ also had a beautifully crafted and finished lightweight aluminium fuel tank, and a 4 way adjustable swingarm pivot. It wore many expensive Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre parts, quite befitting of it’s £28995 price tag. These included a  front hugger, rear hugger, instrument panel surround, ignition shroud, heel guards, infill panels, clutch cover, rear suspension guard and swingarm protector

Bristling with high technological electronic and mechanical componentry the rest of the specification included Ohlins NIX30 43mm dia. TiN coated forks with manual compression and rebound adjustment, Ohlins TTX36 monoshock with manual compression and rebound adjustment, and adjustable linkage, Ohlins fully adjustable steering damper, Brembo Monobloc M50 radial calipers, 330mm dia. floating discs and radial master cylinder, Marchesini forged light alloy wheels, IMU – Internal Measurement Unit in conjunction with Bosch Inertial Platform, DWC Evo – Ducati Wheelie Control Evo, DDA – Ducati Data Analyser, ABS – Bosch 3-level Electronic Antilock Braking System, DTC – Ducati Traction Control, EBC – Engine Braking Control, DQS – Ducati Quickshifter Up/Down with AutoBlipper, RbW – Ride by Wire throttle control, Switchable engine maps – Rain, Sport, Wet, Taller screen, MOTO GP derived LCD instruments and Ducati engine immobiliser

This bike also benefits from full Armourfend PPF, and EvoTech tail tidy and an Optimate flylead

Wonderful bike, in exceptional, original condition. A truly stunning motorcycle that both sounds and looks awesome, with monstrous, mindblowing performance from its 205 bhp / 101 lb ft L-Twin ‘R’ spec. Superquadro motor. With it’s low mileage, and excellent history, it must surely become ever more desirable as time goes on.

MODEL SUMMARY.

Extremely smart and clean Suzuki GS1000 G in White with Blue decals

Imported from California in 2019, this is a July 1981 bike, and now registered on to an age appropriate ‘W’ suffix number

A lovely example of a GS1000 G, very clean, and retains much of it’s original key specification

In genuinely excellent order, with fresh paintwork and decals, and the bike rides and performs superbly. Some ageing/patina to the engine casings etc, but all in all very smart, and becoming ever so rare now

New Avon Roadriders fitted, fresh engine oil, braided brake lines and new battery. Seat pan has been blasted and powder coated, and the seat itself has new foam and cover

Starts on the button with a very mechanically quiet engine, and sounds fabulous with new 4 into 1 downpipes and exhaust can. Original exhausts provided

Everything works exactly as it should, even the original factory fitted gear indicator

Touted by Suzuki upon it’s launch as ‘The Fast One’ the original GS1000s were the fastest bikes of their day, eclipsing exotica such as the Laverda Jota. A sub 12s 1/4 mile time, blowing the then current Porsche 911 Turbo into the weeds, remains fast today, let alone 40 years ago, and all without a hint of temperament

As the model evolved, Suzuki saw an opportunity for offering shaft drive on the 1000cc model, which had proved incredibly popular on the smaller 850 version. The GS1000 G was thus born, with the ‘G’ suffix signifying shaft (as opposed to chain) drive

This particular bike is totally fit and healthy, and just rides beautifully. Decently quick, even by today’s standards, very good brakes, easy, surprisingly agile handling, and supremely comfortable, anyone riding one of these on a ‘classic’ bike ride out may be cheating a little when in a group of (older) Norton Commandos, Honda CB750s, or Suzuki T500Rs, for example, as this bike is so modern by comparison, and soooo much faster. Just a very nice machine for pleasure riding.

So there it is, a supremely useable classic in a most presentable, smart and clean condition. Actually in our view, one of the best value classic bikes to be had, these GS1000s were, and remain brilliant machines. Untemperamental, docile, and still fast today. One could still go touring on one of these, even now

Usual classic bike issues that can reduce pleasure of ownership, such as oil leaks, non start (kick) issues etc, etc, just don’t apply to these wonderful ’80s Suzuki ‘thous’ This bike will start on the button, each and every time, and can be relied upon implicitly to provide much pleasure in terms of riding and pride of ownership

MODEL. SUMMARY

Wow ! Private sale of our beautiful, immaculate, original and untouched Ford Focus RS Mk3 2.3T EcoBoost in Shadow Black. 2017 Registered with a personalised plate that goes with the car

Supplied new to it’s original owner by Dinnages in Haywards Heath, the car was specified with many key options and the retail price was £34909. At 5 months old and with 3100 miles it went back to Dinnages and had the FPM375 Mountune Upgrade Kit fitted at a cost of £1061, giving a claimed 375ps and 510Nm on overboost

Current mileage is 31000 with a very proper, correct and fully documented history file. The original stamped service book displays 7  Ford dealer stamps including brake fluid changes, and 1 non franchised dealer stamp. Serviced at 4 (PDi) 6581, 13037, 17217, 23721 and 30502 miles and most recently has had Castrol Edge 0w/40 fully synthetic oil with Ford o.e filter, Ford o.e spark plugs and Ford o.e fuel filter. The head gasket warranty work was completed by Dinnages and again is fully documented. Excellent matching Michelin Pilot Sport 4s are fitted with equal wear and significant life left in them

The original bill of sale is present showing the afforementioned original retail price of £34909, as is every service bill and invoice from new, along with every MOT, a clear HPI report and all books/manuals/keys

The key factory fitted options are Ford Shadow Black (Premium Colour @ £525 cost) Black Forged Alloy Wheels (extra cost option at £595) Recaro Shell Seats (extra cost option at £1145) Luxury Pack (extra cost option at £1000) Painted Front Brake Calipers (extra cost option at £100) Premium Ford Sound System with Satellite Navigation and Sync 3 (extra cost option at £466) and Heated Steering Wheel ( (extra cost option at £100). The car also has Mountune Overmats fitted, along with Rally Armour Mudflaps and an Exhaust Valve Delete Module

The original owner cared for the car impeccably, and it has always been essentially a one driver/passenger car since day one. As such, the interior is all but perfect, with the back seats and front passenger seat hardly ever used. No wear of any significance will be found anywhere

We bought the car directly from the original owner at the end of 2021 but now find we really do not use it, and have covered less than 1000 miles in it during our ownership, hence the reason for it’s sale

This particular car will appeal to anyone whom both recognises, and places great importance on originality, and ownership/mileage provenance. This car is untouched, completely original. An absolute gem, 2 owners and with impeccable detailed history. If you want one that looks, drives and feels exactly as Ford intended, then this car is that

Wonderful Triumph Bonneville T100 865 EFi in Two-Tone Metallic Phantom Black and Metallic Graphite

2013 62 Reg. 3 owners from new. 31000 miles with service history including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had Shell Ultra AX7 oil service. As new matching Avon RoadRiders fitted. New MOT provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present

The T100 is very much the top of the line Bonneville from this era with an abundance of high quality chrome, including it’s traditional spoked chrome wheels with larger 19” dia. front, engine cases, handlebars, mirrors, tank badge, instrument bezels and mudguard embellishments

Rubber knee pads, twin clocks and black and silver cylinder barrels complete the T100 specification

Options fitted to this particular bike include wonderful sounding sports exhausts, a taller touring screen, a chrome period style luggage rack and chrome bar ends

These usable and characterful retro Hinckley built Triumphs remain true to their Meriden predecessors from an altogether more relaxed, civilised age and for sunny summer ‘bimbles’ are almost untouched. Just lovely machines

These bikes vary greatly in condition, dependent upon how they have been kept. Whilst this example is not the lowest mileage to be found, it is remarkably clean, truly very nice, with all chrome and brightwork in excellent condition

Sounds and looks beautiful and for a 2013 T100, represents fair value for money

As new matching Michelin Pilot Powers fitted (500 miles covered) DID Gold chain with Renthal sprockets. Service bills/invoices. Old MOTs. Original sales brochures/period literature.Clear HPI report. New MOT provided at point of sale. All books/documents/keys present

The Gen 1 ZX-10R launched in 2004, and was by far and away Kawasaki’s most focussed, and fastest sports bike, replacing the aging, capable, but much softer ZX-9R. These bikes were, and remain incredibly fast. Very light, and with 181 bhp / 84 lb ft, the model imnmediately propelled itself up to the very top of the Superbike ranks alongside the GSX-R1000 of the day. The technical specification included ‘Ram-Air’ induction technology to allow greater horsepower at wide open throttle openings, fully adjustable front/rear suspension with 43mm USD forks, LCD instruments, Lap timer/Shift light, Slipper clutch, Radially mounted Tokico Gold calipers, Petal discs, Rear hugger and Factory fitted Kawasaki engine immobiliser

This bike is completely original in terms of it’s paintwork and panels, and has mechanical upgrades to two key areas that this model was criticised for. Firstly, it has an Ohlins adjustable steering damper fitted, and it’s well documented that these bikes really do benefit from this. Secondly, it has a Yamaha front caliper conversion with braided lines and Brembo radial master cylinder which completely transforms the braking feel and capability, and again this is an area which these bikes were slightly weak in with their original specification (original parts supplied)

Additionally, it has an Akrapovic Carbon exhaust, Pazzo adjustable levers, Renthal grips, GiPro Gear Indicator, Aluminium paddock stand bobbins, Colour coded seat cowl (with pillion seat), Carbon style wrapped side fairing trims and ever useful Optimate flylead fitted

This particular will appeal to anyone whom places great importance on ownership and mileage provenance, and originality of the overall paintwork/condition. Early ZX-10Rs will seldom be found with the ownership, mileage, and condition/originality of this example, and it clearly sets itself apart from lesser examples

’90s/noughties Japanese superbikes are now at the age where values are increasing, along with their collectability and desirability, This is certainly an example that will appeal to someone looking for long term ownership of one of these bikes as a future investment machine

MODEL SUMMARY.

Genuinely exceptional, collector quality BMW HP4 Carbon with very low mileage. 2014 14 Reg. Bespoke HP4 colour scheme of Light White, Racing Blue Metallic and Sapphire Black Metallic. No.3709

Loved and cherished all it’s life with just 2900 miles. Original stamped service book. Previous bill of sale. Service bills/invoices. Old MOTs. Clear HPI report. Excellent matching Pirelli Diablo SuperCorsa SPs fitted. All books/manuals/documents/keys present

The raison d’etre for the HP4 was homologation of parts for the World Superbike and Superstock machines, and as such it was so much more than just a breathed upon S1000RR. It had 9kg less weight, more power across the rev range, and super trick components and electronics, most notably it’s DDC Semi-Active suspension, 15 way adjustable DTC Dynamic Traction Control, and settings on the Race ABS system previously seen only on bikes from the German Superbike series. So although the S1000RR when launched in 2010 was genuinely a gamechanging motorcycle, the introduction of the limited production HP4 from BMW Motorrad’s High Performance (HP) department took things to a hitherto unseen level for a road going machine, even more so when fitted with the Competition Pack, as here, to result in the HP4 Carbon

All HP4s were numbered on the top yoke to assure exclusivity, this one being no. ???, and the specification included a modified motor with stronger mid-range performance between 6000-9750 rpm, bespoke HP4 colour scheme of Light White, Racing Blue Metallic and Sapphire Black Metallic,  Full HP4 Akrapovic Titanium Carbon Sports Exhaust System, DDC (Dynamic Damping Control) Semi-Active Suspension, DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) 15 way adjustable, 4-Way Performance Mode Selection – Rain/Sport/Race and Slick (Slick key provided) Anti-Wheelie, Launch Control, Datalogger, Race ABS (Disengageable) Factory Gearshift assist Quickshifter, Anti hopping slipper clutch, Electronic fuel injection/Digital engine management and control with Knock sensor (BMS-K-P) and Brembo Radial Monobloc Brake Calipers with twin floating 320mm diameter 5mm thick front discs

The Competition Pack added £2650 to the price of the bike when new, and comprised an HP long, closed engine spoiler in Carbon Fibre, HP fuel tank protector in Carbon Fibre, HP Carbon Fibre wind deflectors, HP adjustable folding lever system, HP adjustable rider footrest system, HP forged aluminium wheels in Racing Blue, HP carbon fibre exhaust hanger, Factory fitted tinted MRA screen and HP fairing decal kit

This bike also benefits from a Carbon fibre rear hugger and chainguard, EvoTech Performance EP tail tidy, R&G Aero crash protection, R&G paddock stand bobbins and ever useful Optimate flylead

Quite simply, one of the fastest. most accomplished production road 1000cc Superbikes ever produced, with an incredibly docile and untemperamental nature. Truly an epic motorcycle

This particular bike is as good as it gets for one of these. Genuinely of collector quality, it is remarkably nice and clearly is a very low mileage example. Totally original and immaculate it has clearly led a charmed life. Beautiful in every way, a truly wondrous motorcycle, with a distinct future collectability

MODEL SUMMARY.

Glorious Ducati 1198 SP in Ducati Corse Red. 2011 61 Reg

This is the last of the belt driven, trellis framed Ducati Superbikes, just prior to the introduction of the (almost) completely different in every way 1199 Panigale

Very much the end of an era bike, this particular example has led an incredibly charmed, and unusual life

It was supplied new by West Country Ducati franchised dealers Ryders of Bridgwater to Somerset County Council’s road and safety education department. They are the sole registered keepers from new, and the current mileage is just 6000 miles. It has it’s original stamped service book, original purchase paperwork and old MOTs, in addition to extensive in house paperwork from Somerset County Council. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present

It will be provided with new timing belts and a fresh oil service which will be carried out at point of sale, and a new MOT

We purchased the bike around 3 years ago, to go in our personal collection. The bike at that time was completely stock, standard, untouched, virginal and as it left the Ducati factory. Since we have owned the bike we have fitted immaculate polished carbon oval style Termignoni silencers, along with the 1198 SP specific Ducati Performance Race ECU, and high flow MWR pod filters, and also covered the seat with suede ‘alcantara’

In 2011, when new, this bike was the ultimate Ducati Superbike that could be bought ‘off the shelf’ from a Ducati dealer. Buying an 1198R Corse, which was in existence at that time, was just not possible with all examples sold out to collectors

Somerset County Council’s modus operandi was simple. By having such a machine present at various public events, it would naturally draw motorcyclists in as a point of interest, particularly superbike owners, thus allowing the road safety operatives the opportunity to communicate with and (hopefully to) educate the motorcycling community, but in a friendly, non heavy, common interest manner

The 1198 SP is truly a significant machine in Ducati superbike history, as previously mentioned, being the last of an era of bikes that had the Ducati trademark trellis framework and a belt driven motor. These two things alone had characterised Ducati super bikes since 1986, and disappeared with the introduction of the 1199 Panigale

The SP was similar in specification to the last of the S models, but significantly added a lightweight aluminium fuel tank with natural aluminium central stripe, and DQS – Ducati’s QuickShifter system which had not been seen previously. The technical specification included a traditional trellis frame finished in red constructed from ALS450 alloy, magnesium front sub frame, fully adjustable 43mm dia. Ohlins forks, fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock, fully adjustable Ohlins steering damper, Brembo Monobloc calipers with 330mm dia. front discs, lightweight forged aluminium Marchesini 7 spoke wheels, single sided swingarm finished in Black, DDA – Ducati Data Analyser, DTC – Ducati Traction Control, Moto GP derived LED instruments, stopwatch and lap timer, adjustable levers with Brembo radial master cylinders and remote reservoirs, polyellipsoidal headlamps with LED rear lamps, Ducati Corse Race cowl (and pillion seat) and a Ducati Corse Carbon front fender

Quite simply an awesome superbike with stunning looks, sound and presence, of collector quality, and will only now appreciate as time goes by. Meticulously cared for from new and just beautiful in every way, to look at, to ride, and to own

MODEL SUMMARY.

1 of 500 Fireblade SP2s produced worldwide for homologation racing purposes

Pristine, perfect example of a 2019 19 Reg. Honda CBR1000RR SP2-J Fireblade in HRC Tri-Colour colour scheme in Red/White/Blue with Gold forged Marchesini wheels

UK supplied by Honda franchised dealers, Kent Motorcycles. 1 owner. 1100 miles with full service history. Original stamped service book with 1st service completed by Kent Motorcycles and an additional lube service utilising Castrol Power 1 Racing 10w 30 fully synthetic oil and Honda original filter completed by us

In 2017, Honda launched an all new model Fireblade, with the SP1 version costing £19125, and the SP2 as here £22225. By far the most powerful, fastest and technologically equipped Fireblade ever at that time, it featured a heavily revised motor with 189bhp, DLC coated pistons, new cams with greater valve lift, higher 13.1 compression ration and increased 13000rpm rev limit, Full colour liquid TFT dashboard with 3 display modes (Street/Circuit/Mechanic) 5-Axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) 9-Level Honda Selectable Torque Control Traction Control (HSTC) Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) Throttle By Wire (TBW) Rear Lift Control (RLC) Wheelie Control, Bosch ABS, 3-Level Electronic Braking Control (EBC) 3 Rider Modes (Track/Winding/Street) 5 Selectable Power Levels, Semi Active Ohlins 43mm dia. BPF forks, Ohlins rear suspension, Brembo 4-piston radially mounted calipers with fully floating 320mm dia. discs and track spec. pads, Titanium fuel tank, Full Titanium exhaust system, Lightweight rims finished in Gold, HRC colour coded race cowl, Full LED lighting, Factory fitted HISS immobiliser and Datatag markings

The SP2 is a true racing homologation bike of which just 500 examples were produced worldwide. As such it is an infinitely more special and exclusive machine than the SP1

The differences are mainly in the engine, which although producing the same power as the SP1 had significant engineering changes that would then allow the race teams to utilise full HRC parts on their bikes

The revised SP2 motor utilsed technology taken from the RC213V Moto GP bike, with larger valves, revised valve angles, revised valve shapes and combustion chambers, elongated spark plugs, new pistons with exclusive crown design and stronger gudgeon pin area with shorter gudgeon pin, and improved cooling characteristics with the water jackets tightly formed around the combustion chambers

Furthermore, the SP2 was equipped with lightweight forged Marchesini wheels finished in Gold, reducing the unsprung weight, and the front/rear wheel inertia by 18%/9% respectively

The Tri-Colour paint scheme was also unique to the SP2 with a distinctive use of Gold in the detail, meaning that these bikes are very easily identified when compared to their lesser brethren

This bike is totally standard and as it left the factory other than for the fitment of a beautiful Leo Vince LV Pro Race Inox exhaust, which both looks and sounds quite wonderful, an R&G tail tidy and aluminium paddock stand bobbins. The original Honda exhaust is also supplied

In the ‘real world’ a latish Fireblade remains one of the fastest, lithe and agile superbikes that can be bought, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else. When those virtues are enhanced with all the electronic trickery that these later model bikes have, you genuinely have what is one of the greatest road going Superbikes ever produced, at any price.

Also worth mentioning i that these bikes look utterly fantastic too, the HRC Tri-Colour colour scheme with Gold wheels is quite wondrous

Totally beautiful bike, in essentially new condition. With 1 private owner, and with just 1100 miles covered, it is clearly one of the nicest examples that will be found
