MODEL SUMMARY.

Ducati Panigale V4 Speciale in the bespoke Ducati Rosso/Bianco/Verde Tricolore colour scheme. 2018 18 Reg. A piece of Italian art

These Speciales were the ultimate incarnation of the then new V4 model, launched alongside the V4 and V4S models, and costing £34995 at the time

Produced in a limited run of 1500 units worldwide, they each had a numbered top yoke, this particular bike being number 688

Supplied new by Seastar Superbikes of Norwich, it has had just 1 owner with only 1200 miles covered

Original service book with 4 service stamps including service bills/invoices. Recent Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic oil service with new Ducati o.e Skyrich HJT 9B Lithium Battery. Excellent matching Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SPs fitted. New MOT provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. All books/history/documents/keys present

The V4 Panigale ended the long line of V-Twin Ducati Superbikes, primarily to increase Ducati’s success in racing, which it managed to do very well indeed. The motor was designated Desmosedici Stradale and was a 90 degree V4 1103cc 8v motor developing 214bhp…

…however, in the case of the Speciale power rose to 226bhp due to the fitment of a full Race Titanium Akrapovic exhaust system. An absolute work of art, this exhaust system could be specified on the lesser models, albeit at a heady price of £5000

The specification was the highest ever seen on a road going Ducati, a true technofest in every sense, and included Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) Ohlins NIX30 43mm dia. TiN coated fully adjustable forks – Semi Active with Smart EC 2.0 control, Ohlins TTX36 fully adjustable monoshock – Semi Active with Smart EC 2.0 control, Ohlins fully adjustable steering damper, Brembo Monobloc Stylema radial calipers, 330mm dia. floating discs and radial master cylinder, Brembo RCS brake and clutch master cylinders with Brembo folding levers, Marchesini forged light alloy wheels, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre front hugger, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre rear hugger, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre heel guards, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre infill panels, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre rear suspension guard, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre swingarm protector, Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre exhaust shield, Ducati Corse Suede Alcantara seat, IMU – Internal Measurement Unit in conjunction with Bosch Inertial Platform, DWC Evo – Ducati Wheelie Control Evo, Bosch Cornering ABS Evo, DTC Evo – Ducati Traction Control Evo, EBC Evo – Engine Braking Control Evo, DQS Evo – Ducati Quickshifter Up/Down with AutoBlipper Evo, DPL – Ducati Power Launch, DSC – Ducati Slide Control, DDA+ – Ducati Data Analysis + with GPS, ATC – Auto Tyre Calibration, RbW – Ride by Wire throttle control, MOTO GP derived LCD instruments and a Ducati engine immobiliser…Quite simply the best of everything

This bike remains exactly as it left the factory other than for the fitment of a Powerbronze tail tidy (original provided) tank pad and Optimate flylead

All Speciales were provided with a standard exhaust system (with specific lower fairing panels) aluminium mirror blank off plates, number plate holder removal kit and an indoor cover. All of these parts are provided with this bike in their original boxes

An utterly fabulous machine, in true collectors’ condition, the Speciale is assured it’s place in Ducati history for being the first and ultimate V4. This one is about as good as it gets, a true automotive jewel…

£50000, Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Rouse Sport 302-R, 1990 H Reg

PRIVATE SALE OF OUR OWN Ford Sierra RS Cosworth Rouse Sport 302-R

1 of the original 6 302-Rs produced with just 3 remaining

Build no. 003. Build date 1/ 8/ 90, 1st registered 17/8/90

Book featured in Dan Williamson’s ‘Factory Original RS Cosworths’

Historically well known car on the show scene 2000-2010

Fully restored into show winning condition in the early 2000s with extensive new Ford o.e original parts; this included a full engine refresh to both bottom and top end, and a reconditioned turbo by Turbo technics, all of which is documented. Since then around 14000 miles covered

Successfully shown within RSOC winning many accolades, and remains essentially show winning standard

Barely used last 10 years but exercised, serviced and MOTd periodically

Extensive documented history with all books/ manuals/ keys present

Owned by us for 13 years

Almost unique and a truly wonderful car

5 owners from new with extensive documented history file. Mileage 114000. All owners’ manuals/book/keys/promotional literature. The file contains a huge amount of invoices, for both parts, and historical purchase invoices for the car itself

Remains true in virtually every detail to original Rouse production specification, other than for a couple of period ‘upgrades’ such as a 4×4 vented bonnet, Magnex stainless exhaust, Ford 2007 RDS radio/cassette (original radio/amp provided) and stainless turbo damper

It retains it’s original T25 turbo, Yellow injectors and Rouse mapping, and runs it’s correct fatter 225 50VR15 tyres

The Rouse Sports were developed by Andy Rouse. Originally a run of 100 was planned, but resultantly just 78 were built. Just 6 of these were 2wd, designated 302-R and the remaining 72 were 4wd, designated 304-R

The nomenclature 302, or 304, came about from the torque figure which was 300 lb ft, a huge improvement over the standard car, and the ‘2’ or ‘4’ represented the driven wheels

Engine spec. had a reduced lag, smaller T25 turbo, and ran standard injectors with Rouse developed map. Net result 260 bhp / 300 lb ft, and by far the fastest standard Cosworth out of the showroom. In gear performance in particular was on another level

Cost of conversion was £4450 + VAT, and this at a time when the new cost of a Sierra Cosworth was at it’s highest, so somewhere in the region of £31000/£32000. Sold by only a handful of RS dealers, actually 17, and with full Ford approved warranty. This car originally came from C H Soans and Son Ltd of Leamington in Warwickshire

Spec. included 225/50 tyres, unique bodykit with revised skirts, spoiler, deeper rear bumper, front splitter etc, ‘winged’ Recaros with bespoke badging, and lots of other detail changes, such as the colour coded ‘C’ panel, and even improved wiper blades and headlamp bulbs

Well known Ford author Dan Williamson featured this particular car in his excellent book ‘Factory Original RS Cosworths’ and it is now immortalised enjoying a complete section to itself within that book

Of the two other existing 302-Rs, one is a very nice, original and well known car, but I am not sure whether it retains it’s true Rouse specication mechanicals i.e T25 turbo, yellow injectors, Rouse map etc

Of the third existing 302-R, very little is known as it has only recently re-surfaced in Northern Ireland

In standard terms, the Rouse was easily the quickest of all the Cosworths to leave the showroom. Of course, many (most) Cosworths were modified, but nevertheless 260bhp / 300 lb/ft in a 1200kg RWD chassis still feels very decently quick today, and it’s mid range punch, associated turbo whistle and undeniably unique exhaust note ensures that this car is as much fun today, as it always was…

MODEL SUMMARY.

Extremely smart and clean Suzuki GS1000 G in White with Blue decals

Imported from California in 2019, this is a July 1981 bike, and now registered on to an age appropriate ‘W’ suffix number

A lovely example of a GS1000 G, very clean, and retains much of it’s original key specification

In genuinely excellent order, with fresh paintwork and decals, and the bike rides and performs superbly. Some ageing/patina to the engine casings etc, but all in all very smart, and becoming ever so rare now

New Avon Roadriders fitted, fresh engine oil, braided brake lines and new battery. Seat pan has been blasted and powder coated, and the seat itself has new foam and cover

Starts on the button with a very mechanically quiet engine, and sounds fabulous with new 4 into 1 downpipes and exhaust can. Original exhausts provided

Everything works exactly as it should, even the original factory fitted gear indicator

Touted by Suzuki upon it’s launch as ‘The Fast One’ the original GS1000s were the fastest bikes of their day, eclipsing exotica such as the Laverda Jota. A sub 12s 1/4 mile time, blowing the then current Porsche 911 Turbo into the weeds, remains fast today, let alone 40 years ago, and all without a hint of temperament

As the model evolved, Suzuki saw an opportunity for offering shaft drive on the 1000cc model, which had proved incredibly popular on the smaller 850 version. The GS1000 G was thus born, with the ‘G’ suffix signifying shaft (as opposed to chain) drive

This particular bike is totally fit and healthy, and just rides beautifully. Decently quick, even by today’s standards, very good brakes, easy, surprisingly agile handling, and supremely comfortable, anyone riding one of these on a ‘classic’ bike ride out may be cheating a little when in a group of (older) Norton Commandos, Honda CB750s, or Suzuki T500Rs, for example, as this bike is so modern by comparison, and soooo much faster. Just a very nice machine for pleasure riding.

So there it is, a supremely useable classic in a most presentable, smart and clean condition. Actually in our view, one of the best value classic bikes to be had, these GS1000s were, and remain brilliant machines. Untemperamental, docile, and still fast today. One could still go touring on one of these, even now

Usual classic bike issues that can reduce pleasure of ownership, such as oil leaks, non start (kick) issues etc, etc, just don’t apply to these wonderful ’80s Suzuki ‘thous’ This bike will start on the button, each and every time, and can be relied upon implicitly to provide much pleasure in terms of riding and pride of ownership

Wonderful Triumph Bonneville T100 865 EFi in Two-Tone Metallic Phantom Black and Metallic Graphite

2013 62 Reg. 3 owners from new. 31000 miles with service history including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs. Just had Shell Ultra AX7 oil service. As new matching Avon RoadRiders fitted. New MOT provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present

The T100 is very much the top of the line Bonneville from this era with an abundance of high quality chrome, including it’s traditional spoked chrome wheels with larger 19” dia. front, engine cases, handlebars, mirrors, tank badge, instrument bezels and mudguard embellishments

Rubber knee pads, twin clocks and black and silver cylinder barrels complete the T100 specification

Options fitted to this particular bike include wonderful sounding sports exhausts, a taller touring screen, a chrome period style luggage rack and chrome bar ends

These usable and characterful retro Hinckley built Triumphs remain true to their Meriden predecessors from an altogether more relaxed, civilised age and for sunny summer ‘bimbles’ are almost untouched. Just lovely machines

These bikes vary greatly in condition, dependent upon how they have been kept. Whilst this example is not the lowest mileage to be found, it is remarkably clean, truly very nice, with all chrome and brightwork in excellent condition

Sounds and looks beautiful and for a 2013 T100, represents fair value for money

MODEL SUMMARY.

Glorious Ducati 1198 SP in Ducati Corse Red. 2011 61 Reg

This is the last of the belt driven, trellis framed Ducati Superbikes, just prior to the introduction of the (almost) completely different in every way 1199 Panigale

Very much the end of an era bike, this particular example has led an incredibly charmed, and unusual life

It was supplied new by West Country Ducati franchised dealers Ryders of Bridgwater to Somerset County Council’s road and safety education department. They are the sole registered keepers from new, and the current mileage is just 6000 miles. It has it’s original stamped service book, original purchase paperwork and old MOTs, in addition to extensive in house paperwork from Somerset County Council. Belt service completed 2024. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present

We purchased the bike around 4 years ago, to go in our personal collection. The bike at that time was completely stock, standard, untouched, virginal and as it left the Ducati factory. Since we have owned the bike we have fitted immaculate polished ‘slash cut’ Termignoni silencers, along with the 1198 SP specific Ducati Performance Race ECU, and high flow MWR pod filters, and also covered the seat with suede ‘alcantara’

In 2011, when new, this bike was the ultimate Ducati Superbike that could be bought ‘off the shelf’ from a Ducati dealer. Buying an 1198R Corse, which was in existence at that time, was just not possible with all examples sold out to collectors

Somerset County Council’s modus operandi was simple. By having such a machine present at various public events, it would naturally draw motorcyclists in as a point of interest, particularly superbike owners, thus allowing the road safety operatives the opportunity to communicate with and (hopefully to) educate the motorcycling community, but in a friendly, non heavy, common interest manner

The 1198 SP is truly a significant machine in Ducati superbike history, as previously mentioned, being the last of an era of bikes that had the Ducati trademark trellis framework and a belt driven motor. These two things alone had characterised Ducati super bikes since 1986, and disappeared with the introduction of the 1199 Panigale

The SP was similar in specification to the last of the S models, but significantly added a lightweight aluminium fuel tank with natural aluminium central stripe, and DQS – Ducati’s QuickShifter system which had not been seen previously. The technical specification included a traditional trellis frame finished in red constructed from ALS450 alloy, magnesium front sub frame, fully adjustable 43mm dia. Ohlins forks, fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock, fully adjustable Ohlins steering damper, Brembo Monobloc calipers with 330mm dia. front discs, lightweight forged aluminium Marchesini 7 spoke wheels, single sided swingarm finished in Black, DDA – Ducati Data Analyser, DTC – Ducati Traction Control, Moto GP derived LED instruments, stopwatch and lap timer, adjustable levers with Brembo radial master cylinders and remote reservoirs, polyellipsoidal headlamps with LED rear lamps, Ducati Corse Race cowl (and pillion seat) and a Ducati Corse Carbon front fender

Quite simply an awesome superbike with stunning looks, sound and presence, of collector quality, and will only now appreciate as time goes by. Meticulously cared for from new and just beautiful in every way, to look at, to ride, and to own

BPF forks, Ohlins rear suspension, Brembo 4-piston radially mounted calipers with fully floating 320mm dia. discs and track spec. pads, Titanium fuel tank, Full Titanium exhaust system, Lightweight rims finished in Gold, HRC colour coded race cowl, Full LED lighting, Factory fitted HISS immobiliser and Datatag markings

The SP2 is a true racing homologation bike of which just 500 examples were produced worldwide. As such it is an infinitely more special and exclusive machine than the SP1

The differences are mainly in the engine, which although producing the same power as the SP1 had significant engineering changes that would then allow the race teams to utilise full HRC parts on their bikes

The revised SP2 motor utilsed technology taken from the RC213V Moto GP bike, with larger valves, revised valve angles, revised valve shapes and combustion chambers, elongated spark plugs, new pistons with exclusive crown design and stronger gudgeon pin area with shorter gudgeon pin, and improved cooling characteristics with the water jackets tightly formed around the combustion chambers

Furthermore, the SP2 was equipped with lightweight forged Marchesini wheels finished in Gold, reducing the unsprung weight, and the front/rear wheel inertia by 18%/9% respectively

The Tri-Colour paint scheme was also unique to the SP2 with a distinctive use of Gold in the detail, meaning that these bikes are very easily identified when compared to their lesser brethren

This bike is totally standard and as it left the factory other than for the fitment of a beautiful Leo Vince LV Pro Race Inox exhaust, which both looks and sounds quite wonderful, an R&G tail tidy and aluminium paddock stand bobbins. The original Honda exhaust is also supplied

In the ‘real world’ a latish Fireblade remains one of the fastest, lithe and agile superbikes that can be bought, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else. When those virtues are enhanced with all the electronic trickery that these later model bikes have, you genuinely have what is one of the greatest road going Superbikes ever produced, at any price.

Also worth mentioning i that these bikes look utterly fantastic too, the HRC Tri-Colour colour scheme with Gold wheels is quite wondrous

Totally beautiful bike, in essentially new condition. With 1 private owner, and with just 1400 miles covered, it is clearly one of the nicest examples that will be found

MODEL SUMMARY.

Beautiful MV Agusta F4 1000R 312, a very special and beautiful motorcycle

This bike was UK supplied by Red Dog Motorcycles of Edenbridge in Kent to it’s sole owner, and registered in 2007 on an 07 plate. It has covered just 4000 miles. All original books/owners wallet/keys etc, etc. Original bill of sale. Recent Motul 7100 10w/60 fully synthetic lube service

The R 312 was so called because of MV’s claim as to it’s top speed capability, specifically ‘312’ kmh (or 194 mph) That proved a little optimistic with contemporary road tests recording mid 180s. This one is in the bespoke Pearl White and Pastel Black colour scheme with Red and Silver decals. Standard specification included Slipper clutch with EBS (Engine Braking System) Revised close ratio gearbox, Revised suspension calibration, Steel trellis framework with cast aluminium swingarm plates, Single sided swingarm, Lightweight 10 spoke Marchesini rims, Fully adjustable USD 50mm dia. Marzocchi forks, Fully adjustable Sachs rear monoshock, Brembo monobloc silver brake calipers with red lettering, Quick release body panels, seat unit, fuel tank and airbox, Patented 4-2-1-2-4 Arrow quad exhaust system, Removable cassette gearbox, Ferrari influenced motor with radial valves, and LCD/Analogue instruments

Immaculate and pristine, this particular bike is totally original and as it left the MV factory other than for professionally polished wheel edges and a beautiful carbon fibre seat cowl by MaxiCarbon of Italy

A beautiful and exotic motorcycles, this model now many years out of production, and with just 1 owner and very low mileage, this bike will not be easily found eleswhere. A glorious, wonderful machine

MODEL SUMMARY.

2003 53 Registered CCM R30S Carbon. Our own personal bike for a little while now

13100 miles. Recently serviced with Motul 5100 oil, filter, valve clearances and TPS set and has Supermotard tyres for excellent grip in all conditions. Old MOTs. MOTd October 2021. DVD workshop manual. Clear HPI report

Being a Carbon model, all trim and panels are finished in Carbon Black including fuel tank, seat unit, front and rear huggers, mirrors and fork protectors. Spoked wheels add the finishing touch

Motive power is by Suzuki’s venerable Freewind 644cc Air/Oil Cooled Single developing around 53bhp, and mated to a 5 speed ‘box and wet clutch. An open CCM unbaffled exhaust ensures this bike sounds utterly superb, and performance is properly decent

Long travel suspension incorporates fully adjustable 43mm diameter inverted forks at the front, with a fully adjustable monoshock and piggyback reservoir at the rear. In terms of braking, a large single 320mm diameter front disc with 4 piston caliper works alongside a 220mm diameter rear disc, and proves an excellent, most effective combination

Very light, with strong brakes, super agile handling and a ‘thumper’ engine that thrives on being worked, it all adds up to an absoloute hoot of a bike, and one of the best things you can have for less than perfect weather conditions

A relative rarity, even more so as a Carbon Edition, this bike is commendably clean and in fine mechanical fettle. A fabulous, grin inducing machine that’s good to go…

MODEL SUMMARY.

WOW ! Truly delightful Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in Orange Crush. 2019 19 Reg

1 owner and just 1900 miles from new, with it’s original service book, and all books/documents/keys present. In all but new condition

These Interceptor 650s were a huge step for Royal Enfield in that they moved away from a single cylinder motor to a bigger capacity parallel twin. The motor offers Bosch Electronic Fuel Injection (EFi) with a single piece forged crankshaft and 270 degree firing order. The resultant 47 bhp ensures ample performance with a top speed of around 100 mph, whilst always emitting a suitably traditional exhaust rasp

The styling is right out of the ’60s, very retro and utterly convincing with a teardrop style fuel tank, steel tube double cradle frame, laced wire spoked rims and twin rear coilover shocks. It all looks superb

Modern concessions are ABS braking, digital engine electronics and a 6 speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch

These bikes offer an extremely fine way to cruise about on a lovely summers day. A fabulous old skool roadster, reminiscent of a previous age. Very stylish, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character

So if you are looking for one of these, to perhaps relive your youth, or just to enjoy, then this bike is about as good as it gets and benefits from the balance of it’s manufacturers warranty

MODEL SUMMARY.

Glorious Ducati 1098S Tricolore in Ducati Corse Red/White/Green Tricolore colour scheme. 1 of 1031 of these were produced in 2007,  all in the unique Tricolore colour scheme with their trellis frame also in Gold and with Gold forged/machined lightweight Marchesini wheels. Very pretty bikes.

UK supplied, 2007 07 registered and 10000 miles with fully documented Riders, Pro Twins and specialist Ducati history. Belt service and new MOT provided at point of sale. Everything is present including it’s fully stamped original service book, service bills/invoices, old MOTs, all owner’s manuals/handbooks and all keys including keycode card and number tag.

Over and above the unique colour scheme, frame and wheels, these Tricolore models also came as standard with a Ducati Corse Race cowl, and Ducati Corse Carbon Fibre front hugger. More important though was the factory fitted 102dB Termignoni exhaust system with Race ECU, which was an option on the usual 1098S at a cost of around £2000. The Termignonis and ECU added to the ‘standard’ 160bhp / 90 lb/ft developed by the ‘Testastretta Evoluzione’ which, as it’s name would suggest, was an evolution of the ‘Narrow Head’ Testastretta motor seen in earlier 998 and 999 variants (and 996R) and of course added greatly to the aural and visual effects of these machines.

The rest of the spec. came from the more usual 1098S model and included fully adjustable 43mm dia. Ohlins forks, fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock, fully adjustable Ohlins steering damper, Brembo Monobloc calipers with 330mm dia. front discs, single sided swingarm finished in natural aluminium, DDA – Ducati Data Analyser, Moto GP derived LCD instruments incorporating stopwatch and lap timer, and adjustable levers with Brembo radial master cylinders and remote reservoirs

This particular bike also has key desirable options fitted including Ducati Corse carbon fibre rear hugger, Ducati Corse carbon effect tank pad, Ducati Performance anodised clutch pressure plate, Carbon fibre open clutch cover, carbon fibre side infill panels, carbon fibre exhaust heat shield, carbon fibre front sprocket cover, carbon fibre heel plates and a smoked screen. Many of the original parts are also provided.

All in all, a truly beautiful, and wondrous machine, and one of our own personal bikes
