MODEL SUMMARY.

Excellent example of a comparatively rare Moto Guzzi California 1400 Touring ABS in Nero Ambassador (Ambassador Black) a majestic machine in every sense of the word

Registered June 2014 with appropriate personalised registration number ‘CA11 GUZ’

18000 miles with service history including it’s original stamped service book, service bills/invoices and old MOTs.Just had Motul 7100 10w 60 fully synthetic lube service. Major service completed at 15700 miles. MOTd March 2024. Clear HPI certificate. All books/keys/documents present

The California 1400 ceased production in 2020, and was Guzzi’s big touring/cruising bike aimed at the Harley Road King, Triumph’s Thunderbird and Kawasaki’s VN1700, amongst others. As with all Guzzis, it‘s a bike of individuality, character, (relative) rarity and desirability

It typically utilises a 90 degree air cooled V-Twin, transverse mounted, in this case of 1380cc capacity, with quattrovalvolve heads. Power output is 95bhp and a thumping 88 lb ft torque, but that only tells half the story. The torque curve is flat, with dollops of pulling power available all the way from tickover to give grunty, effortless performance throughout the range

The top of the range Touring package includes ABS, Switchable ATC Traction Control, Switchable engine maps, Colour coded factory panniers, Cruise control, Additional driving lamps, LCD instrument panel with multifunction trip computer and Touring screen

This bike also has (very expensive) Lafranconi exhausts, which just look and sound superb, and a Hepco and Becker chrome back rest. Additionally, it has had it’s very prominent cylinder head covers painted in red, which look quite wonderful, and has a chrome oil cooler cover fitted. It also has a META Category 1 alarm/immobiliser

Not that many of these to be found, even less so with Lafranconi exhausts, and this one very much at an entry level price. Presents a good opportunity for someone

Wow ! Quite wonderful 2005 Registered Triumph Thruxton 900 Cafe Racer. Lovingly modified at no expense spared to look and sound just that little more Cafe Racerish, and even more representative of the original era ‘bikes

An original twin carburettor bike, it wears an appropriate personalised registration number ‘T9 TXN’

3 owners from new, with the last for 15 years since 2008, and direct to us from him in part exchange. Very low mileage at 8200 miles with good service history including it’s original stamped service book displaying 9 dealer stamps. The majority of servicing is with long established and trusted Alf England Motorcycles. VOSA MOT mileage history printout. New MOT provided at point of sale. Clear HPI report. The list of enhancements is almost endless, carried out with almost no regard to cost, but key features include Stainless steel silencers by British Customs, Aluminium Tank and Seat Cowl by TAB Classics, Triumph Genuine Accessories Chromed Rocker Covers, Engine Covers, Chain guard and Side stand, Alloy front and rear mudguards, Seat by M&P Birmingham, Norman Hyde Rearsets, Norman Hyde Steering Damper, Alloy Clock Casings, Ikon Rear Shocks, CNC bar end mirrors, Alloy brake reservoir caps, Bespoke Cafe Racer chequered decals + numerous other detail touches, too many to mention

These Thruxtons are a fabulous old skool retro Cafe Racer, reminiscent of a previous age. Just a wonderful bike to cruise around on, in some style, and will always raise smiles from onlookers thanks to it’s period look and character

An early carburettor fed Thruxton 900 with such low mileage and ownership provenance is a hugely desirable and collectable machine now, but this one raises the overall desirability off the scale. What a fabulous thing. It truly looks and sounds a treat, with a fantastic exhaust note and true enhanced Cafe Racer looks and character

It’s hard to imagine one nicer and so if you are looking for one of these, to perhaps relive your youth, or just to enjoy, then this one will certainly not disappoint

Totally superb Moto Guzzi V7 Mk4 850 ABS in Satin Nero Ruvido (Rough Black). 2021 71 Registered

4900 miles with Moto Guzzi service history which is logged on to the Moto Guzzi dealer digital system. As new Dunlop Meridian tyres fitted.MOT not due until September 2024. Clear HPI report. All books/documents/keys present

This is a Mk4 V7 with the larger 850 Euro 5 spec. motor offering appreciably more HP and torque than the earlier 750. The engine was all new, and very similar to the unit found in Moto Guzzi’s V85 adventure/touring bike range. The frame is also considerably stiffer, along with revised suspension shock absorbers and lighter wheels wearing a fatter rear tyre

V7s really are an open book when it comes to customising and personalisation. and this particular bike has been lovingly tweaked and improved upon. It now looks and sounds utterly fantastic and is (very) suitably removed from the more staid standard product

Key modifications made include Italian Mistral exhausts in matt black, Free flow induction kit/air filter, Tail Tidy with LED tail light and Micro LED indicators, Front Micro LED indicators,  Engine protection bars in matt black, ProBrake CNC milled adjustable levers, Inverted underslung bar end mirrors and Rear fender delete

The standard mechanical specification includes an LED headlight with Guzzi Eagle shaped DRL, Minamalist single circular dial LCD instruments with gear indicator, Brembo front brake caliper with floating 320mm diameter disc and 2 channel ABS, 40mm diameter front forks, Kayaba rear shock absorbers and Traction Control – MGCT (Moto Guzzi Controllo Trazione)

If you are looking for a more leisurely cruiser, something individual, ultra stylish and with character in abundance, this particular Guzzi takes some beating. With the key enhancements made to this bike, it both looks, and sounds totally fabulous, and is a hugely enjoyable machine

These Himalayans are fantastic little bikes, and have been a huge sales success for Royal Enfield world wide. They appear to have come from a different age and time, but with electric start, and fuss free modern fuel injection, it’s very much a case of being able to enjoy all the attributes of a classic machine but with peerless reliability

The 411cc air cooled SOHC single cylinder motor offers ample performance for what this bike needs to offer, and has the distinctive ‘thump’ that only a single delivers. The gearbox is a 5 speed manual with left foot gearchange, accompanied by a 7-plate wet clutch. Telescopic front forks and monoshock with rear linkage are mated with a 300mm dia. disc front brake and 240mm dia. rear disc brake (with ABS) and ensure these little bikes handle and stop more than adequately. 21″ diameter spoked front wheel looks nothing less than ace and adds to the bikes’ overall versatility. With simple, attractive and clear instrumentation, amongst many other styling detail touches, it all adds up to a most charismatic machine, which achieves in every way exactly what it sets out to do

This bike benefits from having front and rear pannier frames fitted, along with front luggage bags, heated grips, ever useful centre stand, hand guards and gub plus 6 phone holder

A bike of some character, that will of course appeal to a certain type of motorcyclist and their needs. One thing is for sure, it will always turn heads, and smiles and waves are assured from onlookers. Great fun

MODEL SUMMARY.

Wow…Black beauty this one. Exceptionally clean example of a 2010 10 Reg. Honda Fireblade RR-A  C-ABS model in Graphite Black Metallic with Gold wheels

1 owner from new. 21000 miles and in immaculate, cherished condition. Recent Motul oil service with new battery fitted. As new matching Dunlop SportSmart 2s. VOSA mileage history report. MOTd March 2024. Clear HPI report

The 2008/2009 model year Fireblades were a significant step on from the previous model, with radically revised styling. Power was up to just under 180bhp, and the motor utilised titanium valves and forged pistons. A slipper clutch featured, along with a new generation electronic steering damper (HESD) monobloc brake calipers with lighter discs, a brand new hollow fine die-cast frame, new lighter ‘Gull Wing’ shaped swingarm, new ‘Ram-Air’ induction system, and lightweight cast alloy wheels, to name but a few of the improvements that this model brought

Honda HISS CAT 2 factory fitted engine immobiliser is standard equipment and this particular example has some nice options fitted including a full Arrow titanium exhaust system with carbon fibre tip and mounting clamp, K-Tech rear shock unit, R&G radiator guard, R&G tail tidy, R&G paddock stand bobbins and a Honda HRC carbon style tank pad

In the ‘real world’ these remain one of the fastest, lithe and agile superbikes that can be bought, with a midrange, flexibility and lack of temperament pretty much unmatched anywhere else, at any price. Genuinely a fabulous road going superbike

This particular bike has had just 1 owner from new, and is in an excellent, clearly well cared for condition. Needs nothing at all, ready to go

MODEL SUMMARY.

Extremely smart and clean Suzuki GS1000 G in White with Blue decals

Imported from California in 2019, this is a July 1981 bike, and now registered on to an age appropriate ‘W’ suffix number

A lovely example of a GS1000 G, very clean, and retains much of it’s original key specification

In genuinely excellent order, with fresh paintwork and decals, and the bike rides and performs superbly. Some ageing/patina to the engine casings etc, but all in all very smart, and becoming ever so rare now

New Avon Roadriders fitted, fresh engine oil, braided brake lines and new battery. Seat pan has been blasted and powder coated, and the seat itself has new foam and cover

Starts on the button with a very mechanically quiet engine, and sounds fabulous with new 4 into 1 downpipes and exhaust can. Original exhausts provided

Everything works exactly as it should, even the original factory fitted gear indicator

Touted by Suzuki upon it’s launch as ‘The Fast One’ the original GS1000s were the fastest bikes of their day, eclipsing exotica such as the Laverda Jota. A sub 12s 1/4 mile time, blowing the then current Porsche 911 Turbo into the weeds, remains fast today, let alone 40 years ago, and all without a hint of temperament

As the model evolved, Suzuki saw an opportunity for offering shaft drive on the 1000cc model, which had proved incredibly popular on the smaller 850 version. The GS1000 G was thus born, with the ‘G’ suffix signifying shaft (as opposed to chain) drive

This particular bike is totally fit and healthy, and just rides beautifully. Decently quick, even by today’s standards, very good brakes, easy, surprisingly agile handling, and supremely comfortable, anyone riding one of these on a ‘classic’ bike ride out may be cheating a little when in a group of (older) Norton Commandos, Honda CB750s, or Suzuki T500Rs, for example, as this bike is so modern by comparison, and soooo much faster. Just a very nice machine for pleasure riding.

So there it is, a supremely useable classic in a most presentable, smart and clean condition. Actually in our view, one of the best value classic bikes to be had, these GS1000s were, and remain brilliant machines. Untemperamental, docile, and still fast today. One could still go touring on one of these, even now

Usual classic bike issues that can reduce pleasure of ownership, such as oil leaks, non start (kick) issues etc, etc, just don’t apply to these wonderful ’80s Suzuki ‘thous’ This bike will start on the button, each and every time, and can be relied upon implicitly to provide much pleasure in terms of riding and pride of ownership

MODEL SUMMARY.

Honda CBR900RR-X 918 in gorgeous colours of Pure Red Pearl/Lapis Blue Metallic/White and Black

A UK bike, first registered in September 2000 and just 4 owners from new. Current mileage is 13600 miles

We have just completed a Shell Advance Ultra fully synthetic oil service with new NGK CR9EH-9 spark plugs, and we have also had the carburettors stripped/ultrasonically cleaned/balanced. K&N air filter is fitted. MOTd until March 2024. The VOSA mileage history report comprehensively shows the mileage to be correct, and it is provided with a clear HPI report, original owners’ manual and two keys

The 900 RR-X is the last of the ‘original’ carb fed ‘Blades, prior to the introduction of the 929 RR-Y, and this particular bike is the very last of the RR-X’s. The Fireblade was the most significant bike of it’s time when launched in 1992, and set the tone for all future sports bike development. The key thing was it’s light weight compared to other big sports bikes such as Yamaha’s Thunderace and Kawasaki’s ZX-9R. Between 1992 and 1999, the Fireblade was continually honed and developed, ultimately culminating in this model, the RR-X, the last of the carb fed models, and the last of an era as the later Fi ‘Blades were very different bikes

This bike is in very good condition, and minor upgrades made to it include an uprated Ohlins rear shock unit, Goodridge braided brake lines, Scorpion exhaust, Pyramid rear hugger and Tinted screen. It remains essentially true to how it left the Honda showroom almost 23 years ago

This bike will clearly appeal to any buyer that places great importance on originality, ownership provenance, and low mileage, three of the most important factors, in our view, when purchasing any collectable car or motorcycle, and it must not be confused with more plentiful, lesser examples with much higher mileages and number of owners

This bike has had a relatively easy existence and with it’s genuine low mileage of 13600 miles rides quite beautifully. Fireblades of this era are so comfortable compared to more modern sportsbikes, as well as being totally docile and untemperamental. In essence, just a lovely machine to ride with a super sweet motor, and of course still very quick

Perhaps a classic in the making, but in any case a bike which can be enjoyed whilst serving as a sound investment

The fabled LC8 big twin develops 98bhp and 95Nm, and when combined with a bike of this (short) wheelbase and lightweight it all adds up to something of a bonkers bike, one that will wheelie at almost every opportunity. It demands respect, and a capable rider, but ultimately motorcycling doesn’t get a lot more fun than one of these

Put simply, it’s an utterly magnificent, compelling, and throughly thrilling machine

The standard very high mechanical specification includes the afforementioned 942cc LC8 motor fed by dual Keihin 43mm carburettors, Brembo ‘Silver’ 4 pot radial front calipers with 305mm diameter discs, Brembo ‘Silver’ rear caliper with 240mm diameter disc, Fully adjustable 48mm USD WP suspension, Fully adjustable WP rear monoshock suspension all fitted, and suspended into/from a Chrome-Moly tubular trellis frame

Lots of nice options fitted to this one which include the (must have) Arrow titanium exhausts with carbon fibre end caps, Engine protection bars, Domino handgrips, Hand guards, Puig tinted flyscreen, Anodised alloy clutch and brake reservoir caps, LED rear indicators, Paddock stand bobbins and Rim decals

Quite a rare bike, this is the very last of it’s particular type and has led a charmed life. Extremely clean, and original, it is completely fit and healthy in every sense, and ready for fun, thrills and adventures ahead

The Abarth connection to Yamaha is little known to most, but it centres around Abarth’s parent company Fiat having been key sponsors of the Moto GP team, with Abarth cars being supplied to team members

Just 695 were produced of these very special Cafe Racers, with this one being number 357, identified by a prominent aluminium plaque. Around 100 or so made it to the UK, and so it’s a genuine rarity to be seen. The bikes were all finished in a Unique Grey and Red paint scheme with Abarth Scorpion logos on fuel tank, front mudguard and tail, and were marketed alongside a limited edition Fiat 500 Abarth model, designated ‘695’ so hence the build numbers. The Fiat Abarth 695 was finished in the same unique colour scheme

What was particularly significant was that this was Yamaha’s first factory designed café racer special. The specification included a lightweight carbon fibre front cowl, clip-on style swallow handlebars, carbon fibre seat cowl, carbon fibre front mudguard, LED Sports tail light, sports solo seat with suede cover & red stitching, Akrapovič titanium exhaust with slip-on mufflers, limited edition numbered aluminium plaque, aluminium fuel tank covers, traction control system, Assist and Slipper clutch and an LCD dashboard. A factory fitted engine immobiliser was fitted and all UK bikes were Datatagged

In pristine, and perfect condition, this is a headturning bike that will provide much fun to it’s new owner. Quite wonderful, and a surefire future investment…

These remain one of the fastest, most powerful sports tourers available with 197ps and a restricted top speed of 187mph (300kmh) and are a truly wonderful machine to ride with handling and agility that belies their size, and a powerplant unsurpassed by any other motorcycle, totally untemperamental, with a beautiful ‘woofly’ character and massively powerful

This bike is essentially standard other than for a Corbin comfort seat (with the original provided) a factory fitted centre stand, NWS rear hugger, ProGrip tank pad and aluminium paddock stand bobbins

Standard specification includes Fully adjustable 43mm diameter forks, Fully adjustable Uni-Trak rear suspension, Digital Fuel Injection with 4 x Mikuni throttle bodies, Ram Air induction, Gear driven engine balancers, Radially mounted petal brake discs, LCD/Analogue instruments and a Factory fitted Kawasaki immobiliser
